Quick update. Mine was Cat 8. It took 5 days to release from it arriving at dealership (spent 2 weeks at Sheerness). I have an important appointment today, but don't want to jinx anything.... ?
Cat 8 is in theory a 3 day process, but my SE told me its more like 5 at the moment due to so many reports ("VAL" I think) being sent. He originally told me the dealer can clear cat 8, but 9 must be cleared by Porsche, although this doesn't seem to be accurate. Cat 9 is longer, many on the...
My SA also warned or substantial backup at the port. Said transport company can’t keep up. Also added whilst my car is mode 8 and stuck at sheerness, a car in mode 9 (so can’t be released) on the same boat as mine did get delivered, so collecting dust at the dealer. Needs to be sorted...

I was told by SA on Wednesday that mine was on a boat heading to Sheerness, so hopefully it has arrived. Ordered 04/22, SA said likely to be May 23, build schedule said April 23, alocated Jan 23, locked Feb 23. I went to Stage5 02/05/23. Its sounding quite promising...
Like this video and his others. Only watched his Taycan vids, but he focuses on the facts rather then book numbers as this video illustrates. Like this new test. Thanks OP.
I have just found this on another post and maybe I shouldn't have followed the advice, my managed expectations just became far less managed. I found status = PRODUCED and a VIN number. This seems to be relatiovely positive news... Maybe tomorrow the home page status will change ...
OMG, maybe I shouldn't have followed your advice, my managed expectations just became less managed. I didn't find any images ( productionImages: null ) but I did find status = PRODUCED and a VIN number. Does this mean...
Great thread, and made me chuckle this morning. I like the nod to heritage, small analog clock surrounded by great tech. As for the sound, agreed, forget it.
