I have a CT which is slightly higher ride height than sedan, so haven’t hit it yet. But the roads here are bad enough I drive in regular height 99% of the time
I use it often on my longer drives when I’m going fast on highways that have a lot of curves or sometimes when I drive into the city and there are stretches of the drive alongside the river that is speed limited to 25mph but people average 55 dangerously.
These roads all have major...
I wish the train that I take 5 hours a day to work doesn’t smell, get delayed, and isn’t cramped like a sardine can. The only bright spot to my commute is getting into the taycan to drive from the train station, home
As for why? Public transportation in America sucks. I just don’t want to...
Yes I used to carry a bike on my roof until I got a rear mounted carrier that’s easier. The taycan is so wide that I needed a 24” workout box to step on top of to get my bike on there properly
The ride height and flush-ness of the wheels looks very un-GT like. Usually with Porsche GT cars you can barely fit a finger in between the tire and fender and makes you wonder how they can even be driven on roads with imperfections.
Porsche has always been in a bit of a niche, and does not out right beat its competitors in a clear cut way that makes it easier to shop on paper or come across as a no brainer in terms of value for dollar. I've been cross shopping with porsche for over a decade and porsche lost pretty much...
You may want to take it to the dealer. I had to get a new HUD under warranty not too long ago for a different issue. It was not able to stay in the same spot on the windshield
i think so, from a value proposition perspective as pure EV: taycan is aweful for people who cross shop between tesla. worse range, more expensive, less practical, more clunky software, nickled and dimed for everything. There is almost nothing you're looking for as an EV person. Whether it is...
