I quickly measured my CT4S without the off-road package and got these:
Lowest 75.5cm
Normal 77cm
Lift 80cm
This is at the back wheel to the fender. The front wheel was 1cm lower at each level. If someone with the off-road package could measure theirs we can see if there is a difference. I wasn’t...
This from another forum would suggest a Taycan GTS to be announced in November with production in December but only for the saloon. This may have changed 5 times by now though.
I’ve been looking for winter wheels as well and the Audi Etron GT wheels look to have the same size and offsets as the Taycan. These could be a quality OEM wheel for several thousand dollars less than what Porsche wants. I’ve seen them online for $4300 at Audi midtown Toronto. The best deal for...
I apologize if my complaining has offended anyone in these terrible troubled times. My virtue and privilege knows no bounds but I will endeavor to better myself. Virtue signing off.
I don't have a solution but I don't oversell something that is outside of my control. It's also not my job to solve Porsche's problems. I would at least do everything I could to have good communication with my customers to help mitigate their frustrations. I know I expect too much.
My car has been in Canada for 5 weeks. No one can tell me where it is or when I will get it. Or how long I'll have to wait for parts to actually finish building the car. I would never be able to pass this type of bs to my clients. If I take a job and commit to finishing it within a certain...
I think the cars show up on dealers website when they leave the port. I think they can turn this off or on because you will almost never see a GT3 listed. I think they don’t always list customer orders.
The website still shows my car as been produced but not at the dealer however I got an email...
Why would they ask the factory for permission? Swapping a module would let them sell a car now rather than having 3 sitting there unsold. I hope my dealer doesn’t ask but I know it depends on how accessible the module is.
Apparently my car is missing a key, the TPM, the telephone console, and the acoustic simulator. My dealer is looking into pulling the tpm from another Taycan.
I would get some resin in that crack asap. I mean I would leave work right now and go to a glass centre. Temperature or stress in the frame will make that crack go from small to full width. The last time I put off getting a crack fixed for a couple days it spread across the windshield. Others...
For anyone on the Aristotle it looks to be about 625 nautical miles out of Halifax running at 16 knots. So around 39 hours. Very early Saturday morning possibly.
It's up to you if you want to wait but it sounds like the dealer doesn't have an allocation. I wouldn't give a deposit until they have a commission number to give me. I would imagine they would try harder to get one if it means a sale. They could try to dealer swap or bug PCNA.
