Yes, but I justified the trade as "that way you'll be comfortable, I'll choose the same seats as the loaner we had"... And if you go 14 way, you can't have the GTS interior, just the leather-free (with fabric in the middle).
Do as W1NGE said, sit on both, and preferably drive cars with both. Even more important, take your significant other with you. I've put my 4S with 18 way seats for sale to then get a GTS, and will have to pass on the GTS interior because you can only have it with the 18-way seats, and my wife...
Don't you find it too sticky? The finger doesn't slide on the screen as well as with glass. I had to ask my installer to apply ceramic coating and it is a lot better, but I probably wouldn't do it again.
I'm pretty sure that the S-Class uses the same system. Even the bulletproof ones use a plastic film in the middle of 2 layers of glass. No air chamber.
I have a MY20 4S with insulated glass, and I use Waze on my phone. It is constantly beeping with recalculations. The cell signal is a lot poorer, too. I use a highway with bad coverage, and the calls are constantly dropping.
In the courtesy 4S with regular glass I'm using this week I don't have...
It is probably on the mirror connector. I didn't order the dimming mirror (thought it was only for the side mirrors) and bought one to install it myself, but there's no plug to connect it to. So I don't think I would be able to connect the cam.
The 150 kW DC charging capability is (almost) useless. Unless you can find the 3 or 4 chargers more powerful than 50kW that still rely on 400V, you will never use it.
"That option isn’t needed because essentially every DC charging station in North America capable of putting out greater than 50...
I was referring to the window line. It will be exactly like the Cross Turismo. Which is the Sport Turismo on stilts... If you remove the 2 lights on the hood, and the plastic around the wheels, you get the final product.
