Just to follow up on this in case it helps anyone else in the same situation, as others suggested, disconnecting the 12V battery for a few minutes sorted it. Easy to do (much easier than trying to work out which fuses to pull).
Anyone else finding that their MyPorsche app/account isn't currently talking to their car - mine seems to have been 'having a moment' since last Weds?
Thanks
It's not a must have option. If you have it, you'll appreciate it, if you don't you won't miss it (because you won't know what your missing...unless you've had a car with the option before). Get on with enjoying the car, not worth worrying about, at all :like:
I switched from a 992 911 to my Taycan Turbo.
The 911 was an excellent car that I really enjoyed owning (although if I'm honest, I think I preferred my Cayman 718 S from a sports car perspective, but thats a different discussion). There have been no regrets, there's nothing the 911 did that...
I've found this thread quite interesting. I have a Turbo (saloon) on 21" exclusives, PSCBs, rear-axle steering, Goodyear tyres.
I think the model/configuration of the car is perhaps the reason for the pressure variations observed rather than the tyre brand. Mine below for further reference.
I also didn't get on well with regen on the over-run and quickly decided it was going to remain switched off permanently (coasting is much more efficient anyway). As has been said already, most of the braking when using the brake pedal is regen anyway (apart from during the first mile or so)...
If there's anything that needs sorting once you've had a chance to inspect the car, this can be done (or at the very least arranged at your convenience) at collection prior to you leaving. Whereas if you have it delivered, you'll be trusting the dealership and have to organise to have anything...
Take it back to the dealer and require that they identify the problem and address it, it is not a characteristic of the car :CWL:
Mine doesn't do it and I'm not sure what more miles is going to do for you other than continue to impact your experience of the car.
(Car looks lovely :like:)
The ride quality is excellent with 21 so nothing to worry about (not crashy or uncomfortable). Get the wheels you prefer, you're over-thinking it based on my experience :)
Yes.
Tyre roar is reduced as the element that normally comes through the glass is gone and there is zero wind noise or the usual noise that comes into the cabin through the glass from other vehicles etc. (even at higher speeds).
It's one of the options I specced that I'm most pleased with as I...
When I informed Porsche I was going elsewhere for finance, they relatively quickly offered to maintain the previously agreed rate. Still woefully uncompetitive though, they did me a favour encouraging me to shop around. Out of courtesy I gave them the opportunity to much my private quote. No...
I heard rates were rising to 10.9%. Laughable.
Solution is to steer well clear of Porsche finance. I used Forza Finance (lender was Santander).
GFV is lower than Porsche were offering, but the saving on interest is huge. Believe the current rate with Santander is 7.4%?
Worth checking out a...
Congrats! ? Picked mine up yesterday as well - agree on the brake pedal feel, mine was the same initially, but improved throughout my 150 miles journey home. Will need a few more miles yet I think, but all part of the new car experience!
Collected my new Taycan Turbo yesterday from Reading (great experience) and drove the ~150 miles home to Mansfield :)
The car was initially showing 208 miles at 100% SoC in the collection bay and once my destination was selected in the nav it increased to 240 miles (no battery pre-conditioning...
