Thank you for the additional info. I'll try to get the dealer to squeeze me in sooner and provide the service report language with hopes of getting it expedited.
Finally got an appointment with the local dealer. They have been fielding calls of data service outages from customers as well.
I suspect the issue will 'resolve' itself prior to the service visit and/or no issue will be found after conducting a diagnostic.
After successfully charging using Plug and Charge capability last night at an EA station, the Taycan lost LTE connectivity (the dreaded 2 arrows with a slash).
All data services stopped functioning (i.e. Traffic, Apple Music, etc). The app is unable to connect to the car but shows no error...
I've had my front lip spoiler replaced after it was hit by a flying caulk tube at 70mph. It cost $700 installed at the dealer.
This is for a 2021 Taycan RWD.
Anyone had any luck using the EA chargers? Has the fix/update been pushed out?
Thanks for the info. I myself am out on the road but thankfully have been able to charge at my destinations overnight.
Just tested down here in SoCal. Same errors as you described.
Ran into this problem yesterday on a road trip, worst possible time to find out. Spent about 15 minutes with EA support to get help as they were unaware of any issues on their end. It takes a supervisor to authorize any complimentary...
Update: 12.5.2022 - Updated diagnostic software did not resolve issue. More information/data to be collected and uploaded to PCNA. Here we go (yet) again.
Apologies for the lack of updates. I haven't had a chance to parse thru the service order. Life gets in the way sometimes.
In any case, I got a call from the service manager to schedule bringing the Taycan in. Per the SM they have new software for their diagnostic equipment which they are...
Unfortunately that is not a solution if it has to be done every time a destination is entered. A workaround at best.
It was never an issue before (though the pcm had other issues) prior to he upgrade.
