Where do you keep your tracker fob?

Not sure if it will fit, but I have Medeco locks installed.....then have clear laminate on all the glass...they will have a tough time entering....it won't be impossible, but they will not be happy if I am home and neighbor is high profile, retired federal law enforcement, the key is actually...

Tesla May Seek Federal Funds To Open Supercharger Network To Public

Unfortunately, for me this proves my hypothesis I predicted in the past on this forum about the infrastructure will only be expanded and/or maintained to the level we need when these companies are not the ones paying for it. They are all waiting out for federal funds and want the barrier to...

End of the month arrival. Should I sell?

@Fish Fingers I love that graph for a visual! I think we are in the Mania Phase - Geed/Delusion/"New Paradigm" or somewhere in between as this is a global event....the problem I have with the next graph phase is the reason you mentioned....governments are just salivating on how they can get...

End of the month arrival. Should I sell?

I don't have a crystal ball, but I am willing to bet (in fact I have by reallocating all my stocks into different hedges) that this is not the low of the stock market.....we are way over due for a large correction, P/E ratios are way overvalued and economic sanctions are going to have global...

    Typical stereotype

:like: @Nmoranda , glad you got your 'fix'.... not me, I think I will try to keep this thread alive for the next year or so and slowly bring the conversation back around to being about 'me'. In parallel, I am going to go create a few more 'look at me' posts and see if I can get some more...

End of the month arrival. Should I sell?

I hate where we have come as a society. It used to be that the 'chase' of rare purchases was in finding the item and being the owner. Now, it has turned into a business of people exploiting the supply chain issues and profiting off of buying up all the inventory and then reselling this in the...

@TaycanHero - thanks for the comment, glad to know my post came across fair, which was the good intent of it. @Nmoranda - glad you got a laugh out of it. I actually didn't know if you were serious and butt-hurt that everyone didn't jump on and provide sympathy or if you were commenting in jest...

Do you guys deploy spoiler when in touchless carwash?

blower is a great idea in the summer, however in the winter it is sometimes so cold, I can't wipe it off fast enough before there is a think layer of ice. If I added blowing ambient temp air on it, I fear that this would just accellerate the rapid-freeze.

Well that one is true... :CWL: However, these 'bags' you speak of do perform a vital function in society and are essential for good hygiene for some. So, I wonder if you are simply stating that these owners are actually quite useful and needed by many......hmmm, interesting.

    This is a shame!

Not to argue, but if I may retort, my view is that ALL car companies are basically 'software companies' ever since the ICE switched from carb's to EFI, then the advancement of ABS, safety related software, adaptive cruise control, adaptive suspension, the list goes on and one. Now, even more so...

Yikes, speaking of stereotypes, I think there is more than 1% female on this forum (I could be wrong), also why would men not admit that we had some curb-rash? Another thread just was self-deprecating to the point that they ran out of charge and had to get towed. I personally had this happen...

Do you guys deploy spoiler when in touchless carwash?

:CWL: @Dslev true, it is not dramatic! It is enough for me to put a 'thin' towel over my pinky-finger and clean the lip and the flat portion that raises up. However, with a moderate sized towel, I have to fold the towel, to push it in and drag it across to clean it. Agreed, it is not dramatic...

Does the new Apple Lossless Audio for Apple Music change your mind of getting Burmester?

as a self-proclaimed audiophile (no one has given me this title), I can attest that car audio is a much different game than setting up your home 2ch with 100w Class D amps powering each speaker where you can choose if you want to match your Klipsch horns, pull out your Magnapan's for a different...

Has anyone purchased the Car Security Package?

if you are more serious about security and tracking, don't bother with the GPS based car tracker. If you are getting it for insurance, fine, that makes sense. However, professional thief's know where the GPS trackers are in the cars that they steal....there is a reason they are 'professionals'...

Long beeping sound from dashboard drivers side randomly on or shortly after startup and shut down

not sure if it is actually coming from inside or speakers...that is weird. I do notice a similar sound sometimes, but I am pretty sure this is from the fluids of the battery temperature management system priming/starting up when I get it.....my sound tends to be a little less pronounced that...

Adaptive Cruise Control + Sign Recognition?

with innodrive, when the speed limit changes and I have on the n assist screen selected on the left of the three on the cluster panel, I get a prompted question if I want to match the speed limit that I can acknowledge and select, or ignore. For example, if the speed limit is 65 (and of course...

Auto Emergency Braking - has anyone tested ?

kicked on twice for me.....worked perfectly. BTW, you seem to be going through every feature and option on this vehicle and asking if 'it works'. The car is solid, minus some quirks around charging and infotainment.....just go take it for a test drive and decide for yourself, or go rent a...

Doug DeMuro Taycan GTS ST Review

@Mr. Mercedes :CWL: I am curious as "more annoying than usual" is still "annoying" :) However, do you find him more annoying that Shmee? I personally can't decide whom I dislike the most? Reason I ask, is I may start to give an annoyance factor.....are they Demented DeMero or Supercilious Shmee...

Do you guys deploy spoiler when in touchless carwash?

You are experiencing the challenge I have had with every car wash....there is no good solution. This is the best I have been able to get. First, the soap gets in there with the spoiler in the 'cleaning position', or not (has nothing to do with going 45mph, and pretty sure it doesn't extend...

Has Adaptive Cruise Control including Active Lane Keeping improved yet ?

@soamz it is 2021 I don't think I have POV video, or if I do, I haven't used it, I have music or nav on the screen mostly.
