Can I ask how the car knows only to draw charge during off-peak using a timer only? I get that if you're at, say, 75% and the car decides to draw charge to get to target eg 80/85% for departure at 0530. However, if the car is at, say, only 25% it cannot charge to 85% between 2330-0530 Ready...

I think that's the whole point of how OI is supposed to work. Mine is plugged in, OI app shows a 'charge schedule ' but mine doesn't work to that ?..and again I can't upload a screenshot to show that unfortunately

I think Zappi is more integrated with OI as it is one of those they supply? Mine is Project EV as it was installed 3.5 yrs ago.

Hi Yes I'd thought about that but the whole point of OI, i thought, was that it might charge the car at anytime that was suitable to the network but only bill you at off-peak rate regardless? Bonus was the off peak rate for the house between 2330-0530

It does look...no doubt! However in the UK, and I may be being presumtious here, most that home charge will have a non-porsche EVSE wall box? That was certainly pushed by my OPC at the time! If i had understood correctly and had my time again, I would probably just have had a commando socket...
