I had the opposite experience with Porsche roadside assistance. After owning my Taycan for a month, I drove the 100 miles to the Jersey shore. The hotel had a level 2 charger so I had no range anxiety. However I realized I had a flat tire on day two of vacation. I called Porsche and they...
This thread has obviously struck a chord among the Forum membership. Can one of the eloquent and knowledgeable frequent Forum posters write an email/letter summarizing the points made in this thread? Then, any Forum member can read the email and co-sign it before forwarding to Porsche. If we...
Ice Grey wasn’t on the color list at the time of the initial poll but of course that is my favorite. I think Taycans look better in light colors. Obviously such a personal preference.
At around the 13:00 minute point in the new Netflix movie , “Red Notice”, a white Taycan Turbo S plays a cameo role. Brief but cool and funny. No spoilers.
This error message showed up last night when I opened the Porsche Connect app to check my charge levels. I was not charging at the time. I went out to the car and there was no error message on the car's charging screen. The car charging screen was green and said my state of charge was around...
I also agree with the responses to this post. I find it easy to get into and out of the Taycan driver's seat after the first few days of practice.
My question is: what is the average age of a Taycan purchaser/driver?
I tried to google this and came up with an article from a few years ago that...
I love ice grey on the Taycan. It looks different in different lighting conditions. Ice grey shows off the swoopy curves and details of the car. Also, my last two cars were black on black and I really wanted a change.
Thanks for this post. It was fun to go back to the build your Porsche configurator starting with a base Taycan. After 3500 miles of driving my Taycan 4S, I have found that the only options I "needed" are the Adaptive Air suspension and Bose sound system. This car is so smooth and comfortable...
I had a similar problem. See under previous post”Novel charging problem”.
For me it was an “MVW2” valve that was not functional with resulting overheating during the AC charging process. I could only charge for 5 minutes then charging shut off. The dealer figured it out, replaced the faulty...
Similar problem happened to me. AC charging just stopped after about 5 minutes of charging, but DC charging worked fine. For me they replaced a faulty “MVW2” valve. No problems with AC charging since.
