Hire companies are renowned for trying it on saying when its returned that wheels are damaged or scrapes dents etc whilst I am not suggesting Enterprise operates like that maybe best to check out car prior to accepting or taking photos of wheels/paintwork etc if needed

Maybe consider buying a set of wheels put winter tyres on them then change over to originals in spring also one positive to think about is the winter ones will give you probably 4/5 times the mileage than your original tyres
