Porsche Leeds rang me on Saturday to say they’ve had there first 4s build slots allocated for January 2020 - but you had to take delivery in Feb/March

I actually don’t want to take delivery until April (company car tax then 0%) so had to turn down a January build slot when they rang me on Saturday..... Dolomite silver with black accents and black interior for me so hopefully that won’t delay anything

I got told the same by my UK dealer

My dealer (UK) has just rung to say they’ve had their first allocation of 4s build slots for January with Feb-March delivery.....

So I’ve specced and paid full deposit for a 4s; my centre said they still don’t know how many cars they’ll get allocated (I’m the 15th confirmed order on the 4S list) - they also don’t think they’ll have a car in the showroom until January......

I’m heading in to my dealer on Friday; planning on ordering 4S and paying full deposit to confirm a build slot (dealer has advised that’s £3k in UK - had only had to pay £1k in January to go on wait list)....... will be interesting to see what the build slot will be, I don’t want to take...

Maybe I misunderstood but I read it as being the mobile charger, nothing to do with anything onboard the car? So if you had the triple phase electricity supply (I don’t unfortunately) to charge at 22kw at home you would be able to if you had an alternative home charger installed - just not using...

Called into local dealer yesterday and they emailed this info regards charging options, not sure if it’s been posted before / freely available already?

When I said I wouldn’t want delivery until April at earliest (to take the benefit of 0%BIK company car tax) the sales guy chuckled and said it would be “later” in the year than that! might be different for Turbo orders but I’m only in at the 4s price point

My dealer is expecting to have a Turbo S, Turbo and 4S in the showroom / for test driving before the end of the year.....

I was in my dealer today (PC Leeds); they said they’ve been told the UK Taycan allocation is 2500 cars for 2020. they don’t yet know what there allocation will be although they’re hopeful for a good number as they’re in the top 3 UK dealerships for volume of car sales. also said production not...

Guess that depends how close to the top of the list you were versus how many of those above you have actually ordered a Turbo / Turbo S There may be a lot of people holding out to see the 4s price and specs before committing!

My dealer says deposit list is in chronological order and as models are released they will return to the top of the overall list to see who is interested in progressing an order on the new models....
