That was a good read, thank you.
My wheels are arriving on Monday, and decided to just go with the Michelin OE NFO tires for the 20s.
The car won't arrive until December so i still have some time haha.
I agree. And yes it is. I'm not even sure if i'm allowed to share these. But I no one has said anything about this kind of information to be private. So i'll be sharing as much as I can until i'm told to stop haha.
We order the 2nd key as soon as we do the PDI. I've seen keys come in as little as 1 week (992) but I've also been waiting for a key that I ordered back in July (Macan) .
You're welcome. I was told that the sales manager is the one that receives notifications on what parts may be missing from an order.
If you have a VIN, i can check to see if i have access to that information.
Level 1 here. Always been a Japanese guy, then multiple BMWs the last 9 years. I’ve worked for a Porsche for almost 2 years, driving different cars for the weekend. Including a 991 GT3RS. I didn’t turn until I took home a taycan for a week. That was it. I got hooked. Placed an order in July and...
I posted the answers to your questions here.

As an employee of Porsche, and also eagerly waiting on my delivery, I want to share this information with the rest of this community. This is for North American vehicles only. Including campaigns/recalls for parts that may be missing. Hope this helps and answer some of the questions you guys may...
Same ! I hit my change freeze point yesterday. I made a change 2 weeks ago 3 days before the freeze point so I thought that was the reason why it got pushed back a couple weeks.
True. Yes, i'll be going 20x9 and 20x11.
245/45/20 shows that it fits up to a 9" and
285/40/20 shows that it fits up to a 11"
Both Michelins NFO tires, but i didn't want to try and stretch the tires that high.
Thank you guys for all your response. I'll continue to look around for the size I want that are approved for EVs. I only need to do a 198 mile trip once in a while. That is only when I need to visit my in laws. So maybe i'll try the trip once on NFO tires and another that are just NO or N1...
Correct. We got one module to adjust the steering wheel to the position that the customer wants. It is a stop sale, until the customer comes in and the tech adjusts it to the position they desire. That works when a car comes in with an electronic steering module, that just doesn't function...
Yes I agree that PCNA should inform dealers and customers beforehand on what parts are possibly missing. And you wouldn't have to refuse delivery, since the cars will have a stop sale on them. Dealers can't release the vehicle to the customer until missing parts are installed. So you won't even...
Hello, i'm curious to know if anyone has replaced their original tires with tires that are non NFO (electric vehicle approved) tires?
I'm going with a set of aftermarket wheels and was wanted to go for a size 265/35/20 and 305/35/20. But my Tire Rack rep informed
me that if I go with non...
