I just explored that but sadly not, the light is designed to slide out at the front, the rear brake light bar is in front of everything, meaning you cant get around or in front of it when you cut out from behind. So A:) Big long oven B) Carefully cut around the seal, reseal afterwards, epoxy...

Yes exactly, you need to get into that one long enclosure first to see all those individual split elements/parts.. This may be an option:

Just thinking the ability to change the colour (within the legal limits)... thinking those plug n play footwell lights, like I have in the I3.. change colour, brightness.. Ideally! ? I would have someone build me a unit, coloyr changeable and have that start up sequence, ie each letter turn on...

The light isnt split, one long piece with a glass front.
