I am not an expert and would welcome input from other members, but I would assume that a higher degree of tire adhesion to the road creates more resistance and therefore a higher consumption. But then again, I may be wrong….

Then I would guess the weathered tires do not have a negative effect on consumption/range?

Get the 2021. PB+ is something you will be grateful for later.

Welcome @GerhardF . Great choice of color. I live in the US for more than 20 years now but I was born in Hasselt, not too far from Aachen.

Do you otherwise feel any difference in the the adhesion of the tires to the road post- vs. pre-launches/donuts? Do your tires feel more sticky now?

Unless the Taycan's usable battery capacity in reality is larger than the specified number? By the way, did you really let your battery go down to 0% before recharging that second time? Wow.

Happy to hear that there is an apparently rational explanation. IMHO the range/consumption penalty that comes with these new tires is not worth whatever gain in road adhesion is offered.

Do you have to deal with snow or ice in the winter? If so, the four-wheel drive of the 4S may be a deciding feature.
