From seeing other posts earlier when my car was in production, I understand that once you have a VIN, you have a brand new car that has just been born. So I think it is exiting production or complete (V270 or V300 on the Porsche production codes). However, those with more knowledge on this...
FYI, for all those boys (sorry, if I’ve missed the better gender hanging around this site) waiting for their toys on the good ship Goodwood, it has just left Port Jacksonville with an ETA in Houston of 6:00 pm next Tuesday.
Cars Inbound! For those whose T cars were on the Goodwood that embarked on May 8 from Emden, Marinetraffic.com now shows the ship on land-based AIS headed to Davisville, RI. Vesselfinder.com estimates arrival at 1:00 am tomorrow. Da Boat, da Boat, da Boat!
Mine didn't show on the website either. I texted my sales rep and asked him to check and he sent me an updated screen of my delivery schedule showing my car had left the Emden port.
FROM VESSELFINDER.COM
INFORMATION
The current position of GOODWOOD is at North Sea (coordinates 53.33457 N / 7.16211 E) reported 2 mins ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to the port of Davisville, and expected to arrive there on May 18, 13:00.

Just received updated V screen picture from my sales rep—My Turbo is scheduled to ship out of Emden TOMORROW! Scheduled to arrive in Houston 5/29 and Minneapolis dealer 6/5/20! But who knows?
My car has been sitting at the Emden port since 3/13 (according to the “V Schedule” provided by my dealer). It was supposed to ship out on 4/24, and arrive in Houston 5/15. Obviously, that is not the case. I haven’t received any update, and was wondering how/where you received advice that...
My sales rep got back to me. Car was supposed to ship today out of Emden, but apparently did not, and he does not know the effect of the factory starting up with respect to when Porsche starts shipping cars.
My Turbo was supposed to ship from Emden today for delivery in Houston. Maybe we were to be on the same boat? Yesterday I emailed my dealer’s sales manager and just now texted my sales rep (it says he is a “diplomat” on his card) to get update and haven’t heard anything back as yet.
Yes, I did see on VesselFinder that Emden was operating, and the ship or ships that my car should have shipped on did apparently ship out—but withOUT my car. Now, Volkswagen is no longer updating its shipping schedule at PWL.de ??
You should ask for your VCode Schedule. According to my updated Schedule as of last week, my Turbo was completed 3/04 and arrived at port in Emden on 3/17, where it has been sitting ever since. Right now “scheduled” to ship out 4/24 and arrive in Houston 5/15.
Then my sales representative must have had bad information. Sorry. However, he texted me a screen shot of the VCode Schedule, and those changes did occur.
