What is your current status? Mine is completed and "In Transit to Emden Port." TYD has mine getting "On Vessel" on 11/12 and arriving in Jax on 12/3. Is currently scheduled to sit at Emden for 3 weeks so I am hoping that it might be able to hop on an earlier ship.

How can you find out what ship your vehicle is supposed to be on?

Update - ordered mine on 9/2 with expected delivery date of 11/19. Delivery date was pushed to 12/3 and is now at 12/10, with vehicle expected to exit factory/enter port on 10/29 and arrive at port in Jax on 12/3.

Nothing wrong with a luxury car dealer marking up their prices during a shortage - this isn't bottled water during a hurricane. If we can ask for a lower price, they can ask for a higher one. Neither party has to accept the other's offer.

I read somewhere that dolomite silver it's much more "forgettable" than any other color and I agree 100%. The volcano grey will be more work, but it is a much more visually striking vehicle. If you do opt for the dolomite silver, I recommend adding black accents when possible and the panoramic roof.

Order placed on 9/2 for a 2022 base Taycan, freeze date 9/24 then moved to 10/8, dealer inventory planned for 11/19 then moved to 12/3. Still have not received anything from Track My Dream.

I appreciate it. Last dumb question (I hope) - If you don't have the 150kw option, what happens when you hook up to a 150kw or 50kw charger?

I think I have figured out what set up I am going to use but would like to see this confirmed explicitly: If I have a Nema 14-50 plug installed I will be able to simply plug in the mobile charger plus that comes with the car and charge my car overnight?

Thanks! The destination chargers are everywhere on the coast here in Florida. Will make my life a lot easier.

Lots of discussion about this option on this board, but much of it is from last year or before. The EV world changes fast (and I have a lock date coming up), so I have a few questions. Has anyone actually seen any chargers in the United States where one would benefit from having this option...

Sport Chrono - doesn't really seem like it does anything, but car feels kind of naked without it. Air Suspension - just paranoid that I will scrape my front end somewhere and then kick myself for not adding it.

Has anyone done neodyme/beige with volcano grey exterior? I am sold on the neodyme but think it may be too much of a contrast with the dark grey exterior. Maybe I am just OCD for even considering that it may be an issue. Has anyone done this combo? IMO the neodyme accents are a no brainer...

What color are the break calipers on the base Taycan? I have seen the ones listed in the options, as well as red. I am assuming red is for the 4S, but am hopeful they come on the base too. Any insight?

Placed my order this week. Paying MSRP for a custom build from a dealership with zero Taycans in stock. Very few within several hundred miles of me and none with my specs.

Trying to decide between volcano grey and jet black metallic, but really have my heart set on the neodyme accents with beige interior. Anyone do this combo on volcano grey? Worried the neodyme may seem strange with grey exterior.
