If the only difference is the raw power, then I think I am more inclined to take the 4S though. The Turbo S misses the Active Ride and massage seats. Considering I often make decently long commutes for work.
Also, I dont want to lose my licence :CWL:
it has CPO warranty and also like 20 months regular warranty. I would get the extended warranty anyway.
But driving dynamics wise, is it any different than the 4S? Or is it just the raw power that is the difference?
Hi all,
I have been thinking about the following 4S for a while (waiting for a testdrive in september with a Taycan with active ride):

But today I spotted a ‘25 Turbo S. It has about 10k kilometers on it, 4 months old and priced at around 170k. Here is the...
Having tried one-pedal driving on various other EVs, including the Tesla Model 3, I really dislike it. I find it very tiring for the foot, as keeping it constantly on the pedal requires maintaining an awkward angle. For the foot, it’s less strenuous to press a pedal than to depress and hold it...
Still seems strange. They are confident that the battery, when new, goes 8 years or x/KMs, but when you replace the battery with a factory new one, suddenly their confidence drops to 1 year? Maybe it is just me, expecting the battery to be separate from the age of the rest of the car…
But comparing the old model to the brand new one isn’t really fair, in my opinion. It’s also not accurate to call the price difference steep. I’d argue that it’s simply a better deal to buy the older model, which has already taken a depreciation hit, instead of paying full price for something...
Actually, I have just checked the old configurator, if I would spec a 4S, with all the standard equipement from the new 4S this is what I have found:
Old 4S: 123.5k
New 4S: 126.8k
Difference only being +3.3k for the new 4S
What do you get for 3.3k?
- around 100 KM more range
- around 0.3...
It’s not just about range or charging speed. This model comes with several significant upgrades, including improved air suspension as standard, more power compared to last year’s version, and matrix headlights as standard. The infotainment system has been enhanced, now offering Apple CarPlay...
That is weird though. If the car is new, you get 8 years on the battery, if you replace the battery with a complete new original battery, you only get one year… so better just junk the car, strip it and sell it for parts and then buy a new car? ?
Does the Active Ride also impact the raising and lowering speeds of the different suspension modes? For example when going from sport plus back into normal, normally it takes a moment to raise, with the Active Ride, is it faster or still the same?
The J1.2 has additional improvements over what is mentioned here:
1. Air Suspension comes standard, which in turn is also an updated version of the Air Suspension from the J1.
2. Heatpump is now standard and also improved.
3. The software is improved, many issues fixed (from what i heard) and...
