Interestingly, my SoH (OBD reading) is inching up after I stopped using DC exclusively and started using level 2 home charging twice from <20% to 80%. SoH went from 85.85% to 87.63%.

@ciaranob , per your question, here is the new voltage range after the discharge and slow charge up. It actually show a higher range than when I checked earlier after all DC charging exclusively. Max-Min of 0.017 (Now) vs. 0.012 (All DC) Now All DC

@ciaranob , new mileage 13255mi, SoH 86.36%, and 258mi/100% with Normal Drive and Econ AC , Moderate Temp. City+Hwy driving.(Guessometer).

BTW, the "new" SoH recorded by the Vgate OBD2 now with this "discharge to <10% and slow charge back up to 90%" is 86.36% vs. the 85.85% earlier. An improvement of 0.5%. Cell Voltage also improved from 3.78 to 3.8. So is that all due to "slow" charging? Or simply due to the OBD vs PIWIS?

@ciaranob Just an update regarding my SoH reading. I sent my car into the dealer and had them do an official read on it. It took them two days to do it. They first discharge the battery to <10% and then slow charge it to 90%, And then take a read with their PIWIS. The SoH they got was actually...

@ciaranob , Do you have the Vgate OBDII also. And do you have it plugged in all the time while you use the car daily? Is it safe to do so?

In N. Cal Bay Area, I am spending almost the same $/mile between my Cayenne Diesel and the Taycan (since I don't have solar charging). So for long trips, I take my Cayenne. It's a more comfortable trip car anyway. But up and down Hwy 1 along the coast, can't beat the Taycan.

Perhaps I should do that from now on with the degradation rate I have. Using it as an errand car in town is good. Driving slow will give more time for peoples on the street to salivate over my car. ?
