If you have the PMCC, you can access it via its webinterface. You should have received the userid and password on a single sheet/piece of paper. Check the manual, I don't use the PMCC.
By coincidence, my Taycan was at the PC for a software update with a Piwis laptop. At my request I could view the whole process with explanation from the mechanic. The last step he did was connect to a Porsche server and registered the new software on the server and "unlock"(the word he used) it...
Keep the ACC, it's great when going longer distance and keeps the option for Innodrive open, 3 month trial via FOD. Now if only Innodrive would learn from our driving style and adapt to it, for more spirited slowing down for roundabouts and sharp corners
The dial on the steering wheel is...
If you use the Porsche mobile charger connect, you can configure the number of amps it draws from the mains. I also think the PMCC limits the maximum itself, depending on the quality of the mains.
My comment on the concept was build it, don't change a thing.
The end result is alas a slow boat.
0-100 in 6.2 seconds, I know there is more in driving a car. I do it in half that time...with a big grin on my face. I can't imagine having that same grin in the EQS.
Couldn't resist:
I have the same connection problem in the Connect app and the Connect webportal here in the Netherlands, but only since this morning.
Note: Your mobile device is also not connected to WIFI. I do not have this problem. This is a setting issue in either your mobile device, or your WIFI access point.
Range mode(low) on the high-way, normal in city/town, normal elevated when needed in city/town(we have a lot of speed bumps here), sport plus(low) when feel like it
My car had ACC, I added ALK and Innodrive via the FoD web page.
After a visit to the PC, the options were active and used them ever since.
I do switch off Innodrive (stalk down) before a round-about when on a navigation route, I think the car slows down too soon and to harsh.
I accelerate out...
I don't think the app is communicating much with the car even when left on the iPhone screen. Just checked: Kept the app open on my iPhone, made a mental note of the Taycan state of charge as visible in the car and took a quick spirited drive of about 3 miles/5 km. The state of charge as visible...
3.7 Sounds very low for a public AC charger ?
Maybe there is an 11kW or even 22kW nearby so you can rule out any problem in the Taycan ?
Note: Speed of charge depends on state of charge. You can expect the speed of charge to become lower when state of charge close to 100%, but there is more in play.
I think the reason for this is the danger of the enormous acceleration while also steering(overtaking). Even without it you have to be careful not to be too close to your predecessor when initiation an overtake or else you'll hit them.
Have you tried charging at a public AC (type 2) charger and check the lower display in the Taycan for charging speed ? (If it shows km/min, click on it to see kWh). Doing this makes sure there is nothing wrong with the Taycan.
Are you sure the BMW charger is supplying 22kWh to the Taycan? (The...
