  1. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Well I changed my mind guys. Just ordered a set of Porsche winter wheels/tires from the dealer. After driving my family around in some seriously heavy rain these past couple weeks and plowing through some deep puddles on 99, I figured safety better prevail over vanity for the winter months. I'll...
  2. Need your input - which winter wheels for my turbo S

5h This! What tires are you planning on using?
  3. 21” mission e as winter wheels?

Interesting news. I run the PA5 tire on my Cayenne, and it was excellent last year. The other choice would be the Pirelli Sottozero Serie II in the same sizes. I have never been a fan of this Pirelli tire on my previous cars.
  4. 21” mission e as winter wheels?

Hi Per, I am considering this in the mild West Coast of Canada. We see temps between +2 and +8 celsius for most of the winter, with just a handful of days below 0 with very little snow. All wheels are subject to the harsher winter roads, so I would tend to just wash them regularly to clear the...
  5. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Vancouverites - @moballa @Terra and others. What's your plan for winter tires? I have swapped to full winter tires and wheels on all my cars for the past 15 years here. I was initially thinking of riding out our first winter with the Taycan with the 21" all seasons, but I'm getting a bit...

Got my HOV OK sticker today. Here's how I plan on using it in a removable fashion on my Taycan. Found the perfect spot to tuck it away. If you didn't read above, I stick it onto a hard plastic sheet, cut to size, and then drill a hole in a strategic position for mounting.
  7. Grey Login button - must use guest account

Congrats on the delivery! Sorry to hear of the issues with Porsche Connect - it's been an ongoing frustration for many it seems. Fortunately for myself, I did not have any issues. Not sure if it's because I've already had an account linked to vehicles previously. Don't fret @moballa - Porsche...
  8. Custom Set of Taycan Wheels 21"

Hi there! Just seeing if you have this info yet. Thanks!
  9. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Gorgeous. Have fun with it! And someone lost their shoe LOL
  10. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing your pics too. I refused to stick the HOV sticker on the paint or glass of my Cayenne, so my solution was to stick it onto a sheet of hard plastic (about 3mm), and trim it to the exact shape. I then drilled a hole in it so that I can mount it to the bottom of...

  14. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

That's awesome. Carmine red 4S with mission E wheels. I also have side markers ready for a swap! I better remember to bring them for delivery. Anxiously awaiting some pics of your car! Pretty sure if you want the proper plate holder (made for your sport bumper), they will have it readily...
  15. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Are you taking delivery tomorrow??? Or just popping in? I believe the cars come from the factory WITHOUT the front plate mounted on, and the bracket is drilled into the front bumper as part of the PDI preparations. I will be having it mounted, as I don't like being out of compliance and give...
  16. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

I'll cross my fingers for you for a Saturday delivery, but my SA seemed to indicate that there may be a wait to complete the PDI.
  17. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

@Terra - I'm confirmed for arrival at the dealership this Friday Sep 4th, and then there's a lineup for PDI and prep. So my delivery will be next week, either Wednesday Sep 9th or Saturday Sep 12th. So close...
  18. Canadian Taycans - general discussion.

Good news @moballa ! Should be 3+ weeks once released from Halifax. Still have to factor the time for unloading the rail cars in Annacis Island, and trucking it to Vancouver. Of course, we would drive it from the train right onto the truck, but I suspect that's now how it works! @Terra - no...
