Pure guessing, but I think everyone will get it eventually. They probably prioritize the UK/EU right now because of the issues. It probably will be a campaign available for all of us.
OTA update is not capable of updating the PCM (your Porsche Center will call it rekeneenheid) itself, so no 3982 update will be rolled out OTA. What you will get is individual app updates (music player, news, weather etc) and ECU updates.
I have no clue why WTG1 is not available for you. Weird...
In a nutshell: Nav stalls every 5-10 minutes for 30 seconds in europe/uk since last July. Some of us got new PCM's to fix the issue. Now finally there is a SW patch, everyone will get an OTA coming weeks. Taycans with issues can come in for new firmware.
I got some more info from my dealer. The fix consist of an OTA part which is rolling out right now, and a new control unit fix which needs a dealer visit. Only Taycan owners with failing navigation will get the control unit fix.
