Sad that Tesla is updating their cars from 2012 and we can't get an update for a 2024 car.

I've been driving EV's since 2014 (Tesla, VW, BMW) and none of them are anywhere near as complex, confusing and unintuitive than Porsche. I don't understand how their software is so bad.

I wouldn't be surprised if the current administration influences them to cancel it.

Just to follow up after about 52 hours, I decided to call for an update. The receptionist told me the car has at least one bad cell and they have to wait to hear back from Germany to get approval to replace the cell, then they have to order and install the cell so it's going to be a while...

I have the same issue and I'm bringing the car in for service today :( I'm hoping for a battery replacement but I'm sure I won't be that lucky (2020 4S)

That's not really an excuse... The UI software team is a completely different team than the performance team. There is no reason to have bad software.

I have the same issues, coming from a Tesla. It's ridiculous that Porsche can't get the simple software things correct for a car that's double the price. Tesla even copies the settings over when I log into someone else's Tesla account to drive their car or rental.

We have a 2020 4S with about 20k miles that has been perfect for the year we've owned it (other than many recalls).

Except it has no autopilot functionality which is huge on road trips....

This is one of several items that Tesla beats the crap out of Porsche. Tesla is still updating their cars. They were made in 2012....

Because inno drive is so bad nobody uses it, compared to over 2 billion miles on FSD.

I think everybody here is just upset because it's faster than most versions of the Taycan and still costs less.
