Today I did about a 3.5 hour drive, mostly in range mode at 65-70mph. My battery temperature kept increasing - it started at 61F and by the end of the drive was at 87F. It was only 45F outside and I've done this drive several times and I think the battery temp is generally around 65F.
I'm...
Here’s a good post from REIL (about halfway down the page) about using the individual adjustment option to select more ventilation for the front windshield (and footwell).

Have you tried turning the air recycle off? That seemed to help me. Also try turning the fan speed higher and the airco eco mode off if you haven’t already.
My WeatherTech frunk liner came yesterday. Here it is installed. It fits pretty well and just drops right in. Note that it really only covers the bottom. That's a little hard to see in this image but the sides are about 1" high. This is just right for my purposes - I want to protect the...
I spent about 3 weeks fighting through something similar. Here's my resolution (copied from an earlier post). I'd encourage you to
1. add grounding rods at the power connection to your house if you don't already have them.
2. ask your power company to check your power to the house. Mine...
I have the Porsche liner in the rear but found that the frunk liner from Porsche didn't fit and I returned it. Here's another thread on this.

I like the Porsche rear liner but if I were doing it...
My Taycan is metallic white and gets so dirty so fast in bad weather - which we have a lot of in Boston. What do others think of ceramic vs wax? I wasn't originally considering ceramic but am now. I don't have any experience with ceramic - does it really allow just a rinse to take off road...
It’s in the garage so it is probably 40 - 45F vs 20F outside. I also do have climate on so it is preheating. But it seems odd to me that while it is plugged in it still “over charges” slightly to compensate for either the cold or preheating. Seems like it should just divert some of the wall...
Has anyone else seen this? I have been setting charging with a timer to 85% and it's actually worked fine. Until recently... About a week ago instead of charging to 85%, it went to 86%. I didn't really think much of that. Then over the past couple of overnight charges, it has crept up to...
Great info for winter driving- Thanks!
I've put winter tires on and thought I was all set :) I guess I will now also get some winter windshield fluid like Prestone that "...protected against freezing in temperatures down to -27°F (-32°C) and is a de-icer to help melt ice quickly."...
Love love love driving my 4S! I've had it for 2 months and about 2,000 miles and have enjoyed every minute. My config has:
-performance package. PTV+, PDCC Sport, and Rear axle steering are awesome. This is a large heavy vehicle and drives like a dream. The handling is like magic. I...
FWIW, I just found this one at WeatherTech. I haven't tried it yet but will probably try it next. It looks like it covers the bottom which is really all I am looking for. It comes with the rear cargo liner too (which I don't need because I have the Porsche one)...
I purchased the Taycan funk liner from Suncoast for my 4S and am super disappointed. It doesn't really fit. Posting this so others know what they are getting.

This sure doesn't seem to have been designed for the Taycan. The liner is about...
Mounted the PMCC on plywood using the Porsche provided brackets. The plywood is mounted on a cement wall in the garage. We used a NEMA Hubbell 14-50 outlet and ran 6/3 wire to support a future upgrade to a 60A charger if we ever "need" to. Used a hook for hanging the cord from Home Depot. I...
I too had this issue and it was frustrating. I finally solved the issue by adding two grounding rods at the power connection to my house and / or by the electric company moving my feed to a closer transformer so there was less line voltage drop under load. Both of those were done the same day...
Reaching out to the collective wisdom here...
What's the thinking on whether to charge each night or charge less frequently? I drive maybe 20 miles a day, so is it better for the life of the battery (ie to maintain a higher capacity for longer) to either:
1. Charge to 75% which gives me ~200...
Here's are two screenshots of the app. Just click on the "Climate" button anytime to randomly cool down or warm up the Taycan. After clicking on "Climate", you can click on "Edit" in to top right of the next page to configure the temp and zones you want to cool/heat.
Here's my setup. I have a profile set to charge to 75% whenever I plug the car in and I have a timer that charges to 85% for 8am on Saturday and Sunday. I don't really drive much during the week so I keep the charge level a little low to be nice to the battery and then on the weekends I have...
