The tech expert at the dealership cautioned me that having the sound on will reduce range. I realize it takes some juice to run an amp and what amounts to some subwoofer action....but enough to really make much of a difference??? I'm quite skeptical. Any thoughts on that? I actually like the...
Guys, behold the Funky Cat in all it's glory! it's a great little EV car to get as a towncar runabout or for the kids? It looks like an itineration of the Fiat 500e but has more than twice the range, 4-doors and you can't help but see a resemblance to a Porsche. I'd get some rims, paint it...
What you said made me think about something (an idea/innovation) and at first I laughed and thought it was a stupid idea.....but given all the luxury features we see in cars nowadays, it actually is a good idea:
There are these little battery powered sensors that are placed under the sink or on...
I have a Turbo S, not a GT....no idea if the rear cargo areas are identical, best check it out but with Amazon you can return for free and at just $50 (as comparted to the WeatherTech at $250) it's an easy decision.
The interior or my car is black so it's hardly noticeable.....but for that matter, the ONLY time you really see it is when the trunk is open so it's not like something you see while driving or when parked at a car show. Also, the OEM carpeting is rather thin and simple, not like it's some fancy...
Hey guys,
Having done some research there seems to be the WeatherTech and the Suncoast (or something like that). I found one on Amazon and received it today. I had to unroll it from the box and lay it in the sun until it flattened. I then installed it. Easy!
Guys, I think this thing is...
I don't think it's a trim to fit, it appears to come ready to set into the rear of the trunk and seems, in the pictures, to have a lip or perimeter containment.... I'll post when it arrives
They make a liner/ blanket for the rear seats, were have one for the Jag and our 3 dogs...HUGE improvement add it catches 98% of all the hair. Not sure if they make them for the Taycan but worth looking into.
Good call on the vehicle nature of the frunk, definitely less likely for something to...
I just got my Taycan Turbo S but for the last 2-3 years I've been driving my Jaguar I-pace and I can honestly say that, aside from putting a charger in the frunk, I've NEVER used the front trunk.....are you sure you really need a front trunk liner???
Also, I just pulled the trigger on a rear...
Anyone have a line on some nice black front floor mats that have the Porsche emblem on them? My Black TTS came with just bland black mats, rather boring....
Also, anyone with a black Taycan figure out how to get the lettering on the back to be more visible or readable? You gotta get really...
So wait a minute, let me get this straight.....the matrix headlights on my TTS are not activated ( because they are not legal in the U.S. )and I'm using something else? Forgive my ignorance.....
Yeah, I think I was in range mode, I'll see if it happens again. Also, my range mode is set to max out at 80mph.
I was playing around with the height the other day. I can't recall but i think it gives you normal, lower and lowest. I think it's a fair assumption to figure the ride must get more...
Just a quick report......after driving the Taycan, I had to take the Jag I-pace to the Home Depot and it felt so much bulkier, bigger and more of a boring sedan. I used to be soooooo darn happy with that car and now, just a couple days into Taycan ownership and I'm spoiled.
Also, while driving...
I think I may have been in 'range' mode....but I was cruising on the freeway and when I put a bit of push into the peddle, it almost seems like a hesitation or flat spot, dunno....
Cool, good to know, thanks!
I wouldn't quite call it delayed acceleration, it's just a bit of a flat spot where...
Remove it from the trunk....over the year it'll save you enough millivolts to light a home for 5 minutes! LOL
Here's my Amazon EVSE: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078PKB2JW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 <-- this thing works PERFECTLY on any EV, it's a no-brainer
