Just had an invitation for the driving experience, is this any indication that my order might be making progress? Not really expecting the car until end of next year, placed an order for a GTS two months ago.

In my simplistic view of the world a manufacturer would make more of what is in demand, I emailed my rep and yes, the wait for 4S is probably less, although not certain.

I spoke to Hull, very helpful sales rep said the issue is that I want a GTS and they are quoting 24 months. If I wanted a 4S then it would be much sooner. Might have to play with the configurator again.

Sounds right, I ordered a month ago, all allocations for this year have been done and there's 20 in front of me, ? They had 6 allocations for rest of this year, I hope production ramps up a bit!

Ask to borrow one for an extended test drive, my dealership was very obliging and let me take a CT home so I could check it would fit on my drive. You need to take the kids on a drive that's long enough for the novelty factor to wear off, into 'are we nearly there' territory ?

I can sit reasonably comfortably in the rear of an ST and I'm 6'4 and many years past slim, but not in the middle seat, I think it's very much an occasional seat for dad taxi runs.
