The car gets its altitude from gps I think. GPS altitude is not that accurate. The angles between the car and the sat are not very big, and it makes it hard to be accurate on altitude. Mine is the same way.

Agree with the OP on this. I think it is a personal choice. Seems to have a lot to do with what you want out of the car and what you are used to.

Disagree. I got the rwd because of the fantastic feedback on the steering wheel. Much of that is lost on the 4wD (4s) for some reason. I think the rwd has something the 4s looses.
