I think they are shaping the torque curve to fit the traction available for LC. This can easily be done with the kind of motor in the Taycan.

I think @Jhenson29 is correct too. I think they can dump more current in for a short amount of time during LC to make more power and torque.

Torque makes acceleration. Power allows higher speed.

Sync motors don’t need to build rpm to get torque. They pull from 0 rpm. This is why diesel trains have electric drive. I think the LC just gets the full current into the motor faster. For example, it dosnt have to wait for the accelerator peddle to move. Even if you stomp on it, that is...

You should be able to get innodrive with FOD (feature On Demand) for a monthly fee to try it out once you get the car fi you have ACC. It needs the radar. ALK is also an FOD feature. Smoking package (zero cost)

I am not 100% on this stuff as I don’t have a car yet. But the “min” for the The general profile is the soc that the car must be below for the profile to take effect. Not the soc that the car will charge to. Right? May have to wait till morning for the regulars to comment.
