I don’t have my car to test, but could the lights issue be the Welcome Home function where they stay on to light your path and go off when you further away??
I just don’t like what it does to the look of the dash. It hides the beautiful binnacle display and looks more like a conventional dash. I was looking forward to getting the HUD since my car is likely to push to MY2021. I don’t think I will now that I see it.
I will definitely not be...
Would this look stupid? Assuming my order switches to MY2021, I was thinking of adding the speed race blue deviated stitching to go with the glacier blue lights to emphasize the electric theme on a Carrera white Turbo S.
Interior is Basalt Black.
Thoughts? Would I regret this?
Looks like more interior options are available as well based on the international configuration tool. I like the stitching in a different colour and will likely add that. HUD I am unsure since the dash is substantially different.
I was thinking more along the lines of snow than temperatures. Although I saw what you drove though on your trip, and some it seemed pretty extreme. Gave me some added comfort. I am comprising with the all seasons as opposed to putting winters on since I only drive a few times in the winter...
Yeah, it isn’t exactly the best winter car, especially in Canada. I don’t drive much - the 2003 car only has 41,000 miles on it and the 2010 has 28,000 miles. I kept the Z to keep the GTR pristine. I do get mocked a lot for putting away a four-wheel drive car to drive a rear-wheel car in the...
I am in a similar situation and recognize that centre console. I have 2003 350Z, which I only drove in the winter now. My summer car is a 2010 Nissan GTR, which doesn’t have an AUX input or Bluetooth audio connection either. I think the Taycan PCM will be a big step up for me.
I was thinking of doing just that! Not sure if they are available or if I can somehow create the effect another way. Get the clear and swap the LED bulbs??
I went with white to match the Mission E. I have had black, silver and metallic gray. Never had white before and am not brave enough for red or green. Had they come out with a midnight blue, I might have gone with that. And yes, my colour choices are boring!!
I ordered a Turbo S in September and am still waiting for an allocation. My dealer has given up on providing an expected date. Very frustrating, but given the grand scheme of things, understandable.
I don’t recall seeing it as an option when I configured my build. I don’t have it locked in yet. I will have to check. I really want RWS for all the reasons mentioned above - handling, turning radius in my tight underground garage, etc.
This is the first one in the wild I have seen a picture of with the carbon fibre option on mirrors. I debated that option but didn’t end up adding it. My spec has locked yet though. Hmmmmm....
that guy is hilarious. He has an interesting rationale for not getting silver stitching on the steering wheel. It will get dirty when your wife drives the car and eats a burger with ketchup. . I wonder if he sleeps on the couch a lot after his wife watches his videos.
