Charging at home - 10kwh - very satisfied

Installed PMCC today - apart from legthy setup procedure, all works like a charm. Interestingly, got 9.7kw initially but just 0.1km/min, however, that was due to car warming up its battery. After a while, it step up to healty 0.7km/h - not bad considering 3.1km/h at 50kwh chargers...

Official: Base Taycan (RWD) Unveiled. Pricing starts in U.S. at $79,900

4 wheel drive is essential to use the power in most circumstances. came to 4s from Panamera S (400hp, rwd) - could almost never use the power, wheels spinning constantly and forget about fun in winter or wet roads. so, rwd would make sense for California, LA, Vegas and alike, where it's warm an...

I took my Huracan out after 2 months....I missed the Taycan

Before Taycan arrived, I spent a few month in Renault Zoe EV - and even from that jumping into ICE car, it felt weird - so much noise, rumbling etc - all felt unnecessary all of a sudden :) But that is not to say that V8 sounds bad, it's delightful, but on daily drive, completely unnecessary...

Okay, did a run today and a charging session with car having spent night out and ambient temp of -9. Did use nav to warm the battery while going to charger. Some interesting conclusions: 1) power severely restricted all they way until charging session 2) regen non affected 3) charging severely...

Tip: Engaging auto-hold when not in ACC mode

Noticed, that during ACC car has auto hold when it comes to stop. Apparently you can engage it also during normal driving, when coming at full stop by making another strong push on brake pedal. Well hidden feature.

    Car misting up

double insulated glass - no fogging or misting whatsoever. only way I was able to get some of that was after having intensive outdoor activities and getting warm (and moist) in the car and turning off mid and top flow (leaving just for toes - which got really cold outside) - that and -20C...

    Performance drop with low SOC?

I have also noticed the drop when SOC is approaching 20%. Battery temperature also seems to impact the performance (obviously).

Vibration and rattle sounds from the interior . . .

Tried on mine today. It is equipped with Burmester and 2+1 rear seat config. Conclusions: 1) driver door panel rattles as crazy with 60hz+ and sound 20+ 2) rear shelf vibrates a lot on 30hz+ at 20+ level resume: I am considering doing sound vibration insulation mod on front doors and something...

Did another run today, currently -12c outside, but the battery was still warm at about 10c. Reset the trip metrics right before the departure (to exclude initial cabin heating). Now the result was 33.7kwh/100km (some highway driving, some city driving) apparently the battery temperature must...

    Consumption

Hi guys, I’ve covered approx 650km so far but the range so far has been appalling. Temperature is about -12C to -20C. When I got in the car and took a 25km drive (battery temp at -10 on start, outside temp -22C) I averaged 48.8kwh/100km. I had a preheat for about 10min and about 10min wait...

Night Vision Assist Saved Me Last Night

Had that warning a few times in city. Very nice that it actually works in the background and you do not need to monitor the thermal image manually.

Dear Porsche... (Center Console Lid does not stay open)

yeah, coming from Panamera, I found this unbelievably impossibly stupid. now I found that the way how it "works" is that you have to keep it open with the right hand and operate the contents with the left hand. very frustrating.

Not impressed real world test. Battery issues or just marketing lies?

    1. What is the mileage of your car? 2. Did you select a heat pump? 3. Did you select heat resistant windows? 4. What is the size of the wheels?
