It gets assigned just before production. They can use the VIN to track it through the remainder of the process.

What do they have to do before you can take it home?

I'm going elsewhere for PPF. The dealer offers the service but the product is subpar and I truly believe application is an art form left to experts who do this for a living.

Did you order the clear side markers and have the dealer install or did they acquire them? I'm trying to figure out the best way to ask without incurring an additional fee. Additionally, did the dealer handle PPF? If not, did you drive straight to the shop, or?

Same... GTS came standard with many of the options I selected for a 4S. I opted for the GTS with better hardware.
