Do you have a PECLA delivery? The date would be linked to your pickup date. If in January they probably are in no rush to ship it to LA until closer to the pickup

Yes thing like recalls, software updates, and other more serious things will require Porsche to fix at port before delivery, but the minor things they will fix later and you get your car sooner. Still a hassle to take your car in eventually and get all the stuff installed.
