    Performance drop with low SOC?

Thanks for confirming and I really like the way you illustrated the power and regen capacity. I found the temp does impact available power but nowhere near to the same affect as SoC.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

it sure did. I even timed some 0-60 mph and the difference was very noticeable indeed. You really need to floor it and hard accelerate to 50/60/70 mph and it really is noticeable. Gradual acceleration or low speed you don’t really notice the performance decrease.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

When you preheat the car the battery is warmed. At an outside temperature of 1c the battery is heated to approx 10c after 12 mins and of course the cabin is nice and warm! You can preheat from the Porsche Connect app or from the PCM.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

Interesting - normally anything above 60/65% is 100% power. I completed my tests this morning and battery temp does make a small difference. Drive mode makes no difference. Biggest impact on available power is battery SoC.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

Good point. I’ll preheat battery today and go out for a test drive and see. SoC is 46%.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

Yes blue line tells you how much power you are using but the available power bar varies from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock depending on your battery charge. Check it out for yourself and see how the outer bar varies depending on how much battery charge you have. It really starts to drop off below 50%...

    Performance drop with low SOC?

I couldn’t agree more with the warning light. Everyone has the power meter on the middle dial of the main screen. The power meter also shows the recuperation capacity and electric drive power. It’s not obvious but small dials around the periphery of the main power meter display.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

This is a design function and affects everyone. I’m amazed more people haven’t commented on it. An extract from the manual follows: The current electric drive power (from "12 o'clock" to "6 o'clock" position) and the current recuperation capacity (from "12 o'clock" to "9 o'clock " position...

    Performance drop with low SOC?

It does tell you quite clearly on the centre display power meter (I documented this in previous posts). What’s frustrating is that it’s not detailed much in the manual.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

I think is more noticeable without launch control. Take a pic of your central display power meter when your battery is less than 50%. I’m prepared to bet the meter will show you operating at less than 80% power.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

I don’t think it’s a fault more by design. As soon as I charge to my regular 85% I get full performance again. The power meter always show available power in the 12 to 6 position clockwise. Regen for breaks is 12 to 9 anti-clockwise. I can’t find any documentation on this which is frustrating.

    Performance drop with low SOC?

Yes I’ve noticed the performance drops. It actually starts at around 60% charge and reduces performance to circa 95%. By the time you are <30% charge the performance is less than 50%. The power meter will always show you both the available power and regen for breaks.

Has it been fixed? I’m having Bluetooth issues with my mobile phones and random disconnections.

Issues with Apple Music and Bluetooth

Thanks for sharing. I’ve raised with Porsche UK and I’ll let you know the outcome.

Issues with Apple Music and Bluetooth

I thought they’d say that but if that was true then there would be 1000s of people complaining of the fault which leads me to believe it’s a faulty telephone module - so hardware not a software issue.
