Mine (manufactured in February)was held recently at port entry into Canada for less than a week, and now the update is that it’s on its way to the dealership. Seems like business as usual.

I'm in this situation where my car is scheduled to be delivered in the next 4 weeks, but since its a new Taycan, there's 40% tax on top for being a new vehicle. If I don't take delivery, worst case is I lose my deposit and just shop for a used Taycan?

Is the Innodrive option more expensive to purchase after delivery (assuming one has ACC), or same price as if one was to include Innodrive in their delivery of their Taycan?

Actually, in the (unlikely) even that Porsche does cut the price on the Taycan, what happens to those customers who 'locked-in their config' and are set to receive their delivery after the prices cuts? Would they pay the new MSRP at that time of delivery, or still pay the MSRP when they 'locked...

As the subject says, should I get the Porsche Performance roof box (includes the Roof transport system) as part of the build or anytime after delivery? If as part of the build, its about $ 3,058 CDN. Is it the same price if I get it installed after delivery?

I also tend to agree things are slowing down...my dealership up in Canada has multiple allocations for Taycans at MSRP and no one is taking them...

Seeking some info from Taycan owners who have ordered from different dealers... what should be reasonable "freight & PDI" fees? Our dealer has charged us $3400usd equivalent worth...

Thanks for your insight! If we forgo that, then the next option I have to be willing to let go is the lack of Burmester upgrade...which means the 'Bose surround sound system'

The other thing is, being up in Canada, our dealership has has 2x GTS (1x GTS, 1x GTS ST) allocations lingering for the longest time and no one else has picked them up yet (except us with the GTS ST alloc)...thinking maybe higher interest rates has dampened demand in Canada...point is, debating...
