I had a BMW taken from one factory (unfinished) transported to another factory for a special colour and transported back to the first factory to finish the car further. So the brakes are a minor thing really but I’m happy it is possible, details matter.
No such increase for me in Belgium, the original price is honored, I ordered in 2021 and I will receive my MY23 CT4 hopefully soon (before the end of the year was promised)
It might be more expensive but I want to take my car into delivery and not have to go through anything anymore afterwards, I want it to be finished when I pick it up, no more adjustments after that unless it goes into maintenance and I don't have the car anyways.
I'm also having Porsche do my...
They will be painted yes, they will be yellow in my case. They will take the brakes off, ship them to germany, they will get painted in germany and shipped back to Belgium and fitted back onto the car (takes approx 1 - 2 weeks of time).
Can you tell us why you opted for another brand / model?
I'm doing the inverse really, I'm swapping a big SUV (BMW X5 45e) for Porsche Taycan because I don't like the driving in the X5 that much if I'm completely honest. The looks are fine, I've specced it out really nice. It is sporty/quick as...
I call my dealer almost every other week to ask for an update. They don't seem to mind. That's the sales person who sold me the car who checks the system for me and gives me an update.
Yes, an app makes sense because then I wouldn't have to bother him but on the other side, as long as they...
I called the dealer yesterday. They promised delivery before the end of the year. ETA now 30/11 in their status overview. It does sound like they have the batteries now and the cars will start moving.
Also checked if I have BOSE and they confirmed all options that I asked for are on the car. It...
It's not a software update / adjustment or anything like that. It's a physical installation of a boombox / sound exhaust system combined with mobile app. The sound is definitely not bad, I've heard it on a mercedes (non-EV) and it pretty good quality in terms of sound
I wouldn't go for it though
They told me when I ordered that most of the time the brake pads have to be replaced because they are too old and not yet worn out on Taycan's. At least in regular day to day usage of the car.
So that would be really odd.
Interesting question/post. 2 months in sounds like something else happened but I do expect this to happen after a long period of time with black plastic trim. With that I mean after numerous years, it's not going to look as black anymore. I was already anticipating that I'll have the treat those...
Received a similar status update, my car is in production but estimated delivery date (due to missing part - no mentioning what, they don't know at my dealership) is end of November now. I no longer believe it since it was originally May, then June, then July, then August, then September and now...
It's XPEL Stealth Wrap that has a satin finish look.
Price is somewhere between 5 and 6K euro depending on who is performing it. Comes with 10 year warranty normally on the wrap itself.
Looks great, what finish is this on the wheels, is it Jet Black finish?
I'm still not sure what I should get in terms of wheel finish, ordered CT already but doubting if I made right choice or not, I went for Jet Black, the car will be Jet Black with XPEL Stealth wrap so it will look like Satin...
