I had a BMW taken from one factory (unfinished) transported to another factory for a special colour and transported back to the first factory to finish the car further. So the brakes are a minor thing really but I’m happy it is possible, details matter.

They will be painted yes, they will be yellow in my case. They will take the brakes off, ship them to germany, they will get painted in germany and shipped back to Belgium and fitted back onto the car (takes approx 1 - 2 weeks of time).

My car was due delivery in May and I still haven't got it so yeah those dates mean nothing really expect for disappointment pointers in time

It's not a software update / adjustment or anything like that. It's a physical installation of a boombox / sound exhaust system combined with mobile app. The sound is definitely not bad, I've heard it on a mercedes (non-EV) and it pretty good quality in terms of sound I wouldn't go for it though

They told me when I ordered that most of the time the brake pads have to be replaced because they are too old and not yet worn out on Taycan's. At least in regular day to day usage of the car. So that would be really odd.
