ppf on headlights is fine. done it every car i have owned for the last 7 years. no issues.
ceramic can be done yourself, but if the car needs paint correction prior, which it likely will, you may want to have an installer do it if you don't have a proper polisher / polish and the experience...
agreed,. but it is at the heart of the problem. updating the nav algo, or adding color icons should be able to be done to all cars / all years. 100% agree.
different hardware versions are apparently creating issues for the release of the update to all. since they haven't broken the update...
i pretty much agree with you. i'm not suggesting massive UI changes every week. updating the nav algo to improve charging on trip wouldn't require learning anything new, nor would a bug fix, nor would adding color icons. changing out one component in your rack of equipment, one upgrading the...
a rapid iterative approach where they release small updates vs a major release would definitely be better IMO. that is what 90% of the world has moved to - micro releases with small updates vs wait for a big one where you decided what to deploy 12 months ago and didn't have the requirements...
there is a whole thread on this already.

leather, can easily add wheels later when you have the cash.
nothing wrong with standard interior, but since your are eyeing the leather you must value it.
lol, this thread will be of no help in deciding as seen by opinions posted. decide what you value most. everyone has their own opinion...
does the garage receive power from the main panel in your home. if so, one of the ethernet over power adapters could save you the trouble of having to run a wire, just connect a router, or wifi extender to it...
i wouldn't go for the factory ppf. you can definitely get a better job at the same price point with a local installer, or with your local dealer.
i also think there are better quality ppf films than 3M.
i'm picky, but if i received what was pictured by OP i would be having it redone.
i...
i paid msrp for a car i found in inventory out of state, dealer i had not done business with prior. had i gone to my local dealer that i have a past relationship with i would have received $1500 off an order, (i've gotten up to 9% on prior cars). in this market i expected msrp.
i may purchase...
For those saying we should NOT expect this, or that we bought a drivers car - not a tech car etc, or that it isn't safe.
I find that argument comical and dated, Porsche set expectations and needs to evolve to current market demands or die... Porsche knows it, these quotes directly from the...
you think the manufacturer has no ability to road test an update because they install in OTA. that makes no sense at all. again, the method of delivery has nothing to do with the qa/test process.
dealer installed updates happen all the time without road test. they simply look at install...
To each his own opinion, but I disagree. OTA can be completely safe, whether a tech loads the update or it happens OTA the net result is the same. Updated Car.
If you are questioning the testing methods prior to deployment that a different point altogether, but this notion that OTA isnt'...
