The best work around is to raise the car just before parking and turn off the power in raised mode. When you get in, the car will still be raised. I have a steep short ramp from the street to my driveway, so I always raise the car before entering the driveway to avoid bottoming. The difference...
Sounds like the issue there might be that the interval between notification and speed change was designed to enhance revenue collection rather than safety.
Not for people who drive them back to back. I have a MY25 Taycan 4S that has been out of service since July 2 due to battery problem. The dealer gave me an electric Macan as a loaner. Rather than writing reams about the difference between the two in terms of diving enjoyment, I will sum it up...
I hear you. But I would have said the same back in the 70s driving my '57 Chevy Bel Air convertible and then my Toyota Corona. Inherent in the LIE and Clearview - and the BQE
Was charging my 2024 Taycan 4S yesterday - probably the 4th or 5th time I've charged. Set max charge to 100% in preparation for long drive today. Was out running errand in our second car when I got a message saying, roughly, "charging process interrupted, charging error".
When I got home the...
Also excellent for holding straws. I always carry a few long straws for tall take-out drinks that come with straws shorter than the cup. But it works for pens as well. :)
I bought a white key cover on Amazon to match my white 2024 Taycan 4S. It sat in a drawer for months while I combed YouTube for a good and clear explanation of how to change key covers. Most of the posts were not detailed enough in explanation or pictures to make me feel I could change the cover...
I have a MY25 Taycan (delivered early January) in plain white and it's gorgeous. I'd at least wait until you see it in full daylight to decide what to do.
Just took delivery of 2025MY 4S with 19" rims and all season Hankooks. Not sure about the Hankooks yet. But 19" rims important given the quality of street paving where I live.
It's common to offer discounts on prior year cars, especially if there was a model change. I've seen a lot of deals on cars already on the lots. I custom ordered my 2025 4S and got a decent discount but my experience over many years is that discounts on custom orders are more rare and smaller.
I live in an urban/dense suburban area and just had this conversation with my sales person pending delivery of my Tacan 4S. His view, FWIW, is "on" for driving locally, given lots of traffic/red lights/stop signs, etc, and "off" for highway driving. Not "auto" for either situation.
My new Tacan 4S has Hankook tires. I was hoping for Pirelli or Michelin. What experience have others had with Hankook tires on their Taycan? Handling? Noise? Wear?
