Your dealer might be right. There were some older posts that suggested that sports sound could not be an OTA FOD since it requires the installation of additional speakers. I’ve scared the hell out of cyclists (not intentionally!) when I’ve sneaked up on them when they clearly couldn’t hear...
I hear you. It would be better if they could just be upfront and say it will take x weeks, rather than "it'll come when it comes". If the 1-800 number could help you, surely the dealer can call that number themselves!

Dealers are struggling with this update and it is causing issues for some. Seems like the large majority of updates are without issues, but it appears that there are...
Same here - offered the second key but was told they didn’t need it.
On Bose - personally I think it sounds fantastic in the Taycan. Then again, I have been told by others that I’m tone deaf. Mainly when I’m singing though.
Also trying to wrap my head around this. My car (2020) went in yesterday. Got a call today that we’ll get more info hopefully tomorrow on time scale, but the process apparently involves a lot of back and forth with Germany, and potentially new parts. I doubt we’ll see the car again until next...
That's pretty amazing. I left the car unused for 15 weeks (lockdown over here) and lost 16% of the battery in that time. Yes, it was hell not driving it for that period! Was pretty pleased with 1% per week. However, I left the interior monitoring and parking brake on, and occasionally turned...
I’d imagine most of those are MY2020s - the MY2020 PSCBs has bigger calipers than the MY2021 PSCBs, so that may also have swung the decision for those buyers to upgrade.
Again, that sucks so hope they sort it out soon. Looks like issues with MY 20 and 21 then. Hoping these are isolated, but then hoped the same about the 12V batteries. Looks like Porsche using 8 year olds for their software again.
Just got a call from my dealer to confirm my booking for the MY 2020 update, amongst other things, for Tuesday. So, seems to still be going ahead in the UK. Or my dealer hasn’t read the stop order. Either could be true.
I can vouch for that from a UK perspective. Back in July I was getting 270 miles plus of range (20', Turbo, Normal mode, Eco at 20C/68F). However, from numerous posts over the last 6 months, you will see that my range plummeted once we got to October/November. Small changes cause huge changes...
Just double check with your dealer - $308 may just be the fee that your dealer charges Porsche for doing the work, and they have accidentally sent it to you.
With the charging infrastructure as it is, keep the battery at 10% or less and noone’s stealing that baby! Unless of course they decide to put it on charge for a few hours while helping themselves to tea.
Can you post a similar picture of your data? That way we can see the consumption figure and usual distances you are travelling. If they are normal then you probably do have a battery problem.
Just my 2 cents - I'm in the long-term camp (I think). Bought outright and intend to keep it for a number of years. I held-off buying an EV for many years, since I wanted this purchase to be a long-term purchase, so waited for an EV that I really wanted to drive. The Taycan is a fantastic...
The super low range doesn't sound quite right with the Performance Battery PLUS, especially given your charger data. What is the consumption showing when you drive? That will give you some more clarity - if the consumption is within a "normal" range, yet your actual range is really low, it...
Firstly, that sounds like an awesome second home. In relation to range, it really also depends on climate. On a cold day, without a pre-heated battery (which is surprisingly difficult to do with a Taycan), I would not risk a 195 mile trip even on the flat. I assume that since your second home...
