2,500km family roadtrip - Dublin (Ireland) to Athens (Greece) - in a Taycan 4S.

I’ve driven all around Europe and through all those cities and never ever filed any of that paperwork. I think once the hotel I stayed at said they needed my plate numbers, maybe they did it.

Best spots for launch control in the Bay Area

it’s just that launching them is actually quite boring. It’s not a normal driving behavior and isn’t particularly interesting. And in these cars tends to be uncomfortably fast. Launches are now just for reviews and bragging rights.

Best spots for launch control in the Bay Area

I assume when you say Bay Area you actually mean south bay. Because Bunker road on a weekday is pretty quiet in Marin along with several roads out to the shore north of there like Nicacio Valley Road. South Bay there is no shortage of crappy commercial parks with straightaways totally empty 7pm...

New guy here with a few general questions Panamera VS Taycan

I would not bet on any improvement. Porsche has shown they are not updating previous Taycan's just 1 and 2 years old. You need to be ok with what you get today. I've had one for 2 years and interface and technology wise, nothing has improved at all. I just got a Cayenne GTS with older PCM5 and...

Honest feedback required - does the Taycan work as a luxury car?

Short answer no, but that doesn't mean you might not enjoy it anyways. Long answer: I drove an E450 Coupe with the sport package (lowered and slightly more direct) for my commuter car for 2 years and wow was that thing a dream. You really arrived feeling better than you left. Between the...

My car lost/reduced power several times today

I guess you can be passive aggressive about it. But yes, I sold it this month because it had so many issues. I'd like to return to it when it is more reliable as a platform. I love the direction of the car. But I've owned one since the beginning, much longer than most in the forum, and...
