I think it depends how long after the end of the time you go back to your car and unplug.
i.e. if you set it to be ready for 7am and you unplug it around 7am then you assume it works as you say.
The problem comes where you set it to be done at 7am but you don't come back until 12pm, then you'll...
Yep, not sure this helps. My problem is I want it to stop at 85%, but set a timer to 85% and it just keeps going to 100% if you leave it past the timer time.
Even more confusingly, what it actually does is say 'Charging process complete' at 85% but keeps going to 100% if you don't unplug it.
So you need to set both the Timer to 85% & the profile to 85% and have them both activated? Then it will actually stop at 85% and not keep going higher?
Not exactly intuitive is it.
I think I've tried this already and it kept going in this scenario too, but can try again to be sure if you say...
Hi - Yes, I know this topic has been discussed 1,000 times but most of the threads seem to be closed down by someone entering the discussion and saying ‘you just set a timer for 85%’ or ‘the minimum charge in profile is actually a maximum’, etc…
None of this is true.
I set a timer for 85% at...
I find that putting your phone into airplane mode and then back out of airplane mode fixes it every time. I know we always assume the computer issues are Porsche’s fault (because they nearly always are) but this one might actually be Apple’s fault
I was just told during the check during the recent recall that my break pads were 25% worn at 6,000 miles and 6 months old. Sounds a bit extreme to me. What do others think?
I heard someone say that it’s equivalent of people wanting the sound of horses when they got the first motor car! ? (Obviously nobody asked for that).
I recently had a Macan courtesy car when my Taycan was in for a recall. All the engine noises it made seemed so ridiculous compared to my nice...
I suspect you could have guessed it. The main reason the resale value is low for EVs (not just the Taucan) is that most governments offer very attractive tax incentives for buying a new one, but they’re either not there or much lower for second hand ones. That’s the reason.
as a company owner...
Maybe, though the vast majority of cars still seem to be petrol or diesel (or hybrid Ubers, that don’t seem to choose to pay to park in paid bays anyway)
It does bring it inline but that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. Authorities everywhere seem to be behaving like pollution/climate change are sorted, when we all know they’re nowhere near even in the road to being sorted
Hi All - I see lots of Taycans around central London/Westminster so though you may be interested in this.
Currently EV owners can park in Westminster for up to 4 hours by only paying for the first 10 minutes.
Westminster council is proposing that from next month EVs will have to pay about the...
Hi! -
someone has clearly tried to pull off the rear number plate on my Taycan while it was parked in the street, they didn’t manage but have bent it a tiny bit so I’d like to unscrew it and bend it back into shape before reattaching it.
does anyone know how I unscrew the rear number plate...
