I read that a previous update allows the 12v battery to remain charged when the car is plugged in. However I've also read a lot of back n fourth opinions on this topic.

I kept it plugged in set at 50% but my charge point app didn't record any charging sessions. It's hard to believe, maybe the charges were to small to record?.

Before I left for a 6 month deployment I read many threads relating to the best Taycan long term storage practices and became even more uncertain of what to do. Some posts suggested a mix of using a battery tinder, remove wheels, charge set to 5% 20%,50% or 80%. Various other directions and...

Agree 100% , I just wonder why RWD are absent from the discussion and their website. We can do math and figure it out but like you said real life observations are the best.

Please please pretty please Redshift Performance advertise your RWD tune so that I can spend my money with you (that sounds rediculous ?). It's been asked a bunch of times. I do understand customer hesitation to post though. I like what Redshift is doing but I've stated before the RWD and GTS...

I've been waiting to hear anything about the RWD numbers. I've seen many ask this question with no answers except that they are getting the tune done. All I've wanted is a Taycan "S". If I wasn't out of the country I'd get it done with all questions answered.

Currently out of the country for 6 months and and I'm just over 2 months in. The car is fine, weeks are nothing to be concerned about. I plan on finally putting this question to rest with a post in November with the status of my car. From my research, a battery tender is not needed.

I don't know how much clearer this statement can be. Name one product that claims to upgrade something without giving the before and after..... It's not about drag racing or numbers, it's about knowing exactly what you're gaining out of a upgrade with your hard earned money. Eventually details...

I've read through many threads via the search option and I came to the conclusion that the 12v is kept charged from the big battery provided all updates are current. This is kind of important as ill be leaving my car for 6 months.

This would be the smartest move IMO, RWD tunes would be selling like hotcakes. RWD is the only trim that can truly benefit from a tune.

It really depends on where you live and what matters most. I travel between D.C. and VA Beach and have no need for anything fast. As others mentioned it's the options that matter. My 22 RWD is heavily optioned and I feel It's still too fast for Virginia roads. I'm glad I didn't listen to my dad...
