Watched it and was amazed he hadn’t checked his facts before stating the 0-60 time was 3.2 seconds. He mentions 4S is 3.8 seconds which is correct and Turbo is 3 seconds which is also correct…but GTS is 3.5 seconds not 3.2 seconds.
Thanks for the response everyone, it’s made my mind up to option sports chrono. In Porsche terms it’s a relatively low cost option and one I know I’ll always think about what I may have missed if I do not spec it.
One of the last options I am debating over and over again is weather to option the sports Chrono option. Taking aesthetics aside (I know some feel it spoils the look of the dash) I would be interested to see if not speccing it impacts on peoples decision on not changing driving modes as it’s not...
No its not one pedal driving he is discussing he means that if you take your foot off the brake at 0 mph you can option if you want the car to either creep forward or to hold.
Not got my Taycan yet but in my test drive I had to press the brake pedal down again to actIvate Hold else it creeps...
Wow was not aware of that, thanks for sharing. Planning on taking the experience in either April or May. Had an email from them today saying I can book it in for a Taycan Turbo S…but I am ordering a 4S ST so replied back to see if I can drive a 4S instead…don’t want to annoy myself at how much...
Yeah exactly this, was on the phone to my sales guy today and he was recommending I do the track day so that I can fully decide what options I think are useful. Had the invitation since around last September but didn’t want to book in a day when it’s freezing cold!
On a frustrating note, he was...
Looks good, going over multiple permutations myself on a daily basis!
My opinion for what it’s worth, you should spec gloss black side windows (silver looks out of place) and gloss black badge…I would also have a good look at the exterior mirror with gloss black option (the standard one looks a...
Pretty much the same for me, plus there were some things that come as standard on the GTS model (sport design package, chrono clock, black lights etc) that I would never spec given the choice and with the relatively minor performance bump (0.3 seconds 0-62) decided the 4S was the one for me.
The technical details shown for the ST4S reflect this though there has been some speculation in other threads that the range has only been updated in the official figures due to the ST being a new model.
I was comparing the ST4S with standard battery vs the CT4S that has the performance battery...
I guess it depends on the size of the dealership. At my local one they only get a couple of TTS slots a year…GTS on the other hand is more readily available. My take from that is the more expensive the model the longer the wait to get a build slot.

Personal choice on that one, the ST is more in line with the Saloon for performance figures. The CT is as mentioned heavier and has slightly worse stats but in real life would not be noticeable.
For what it’s worth I am going for the 4S ST without the performance plus battery option. I simply...
Here’s another reason to go for the ST over the saloon: https://www.carbuyer.co.uk/porsche/taycan/303772/new-porsche-taycan-sport-turismo-line-up-expanded-for-2022?refid=1570C81AC9108E2F9F05DB643378A50C&utm_medium=email the drivers seat can be raised an extra 9mm ? Oh and apparently the best...
Exactly the same reason for me going for the ST, my dog will travel in style! Placed my order for the 4S ST yesterday and requested for the build date to be September at the earliest to assure it will be a MY23. Mamba Green with beige interior is what I’ve settled on.
The OPC are advising me to...
