    Flat tire. Things to consider.

The tire sealing kit, tool kit, tow hook and air pump are located inside the frunk. There are 2 plastic covers on either side. Just grab the handle and lift them off.

    Taycan Secret Tips and Functions

Nothing I found. But with the geolinked homelink working so well I reassigned the instrument cluster hotkey to bring up the surround view camera.

    Range Problem

Range will also improve a bit once the car is fully broken in. I hear the regen breaking is also deliberately reduced when the car is new to allow the brakes to be "Set in"

Do you need to carry EVSE ?

I have a hard time justifying keeping an EVSE in the car for "just in case". I use the PMCC to charge my car when it drops to ~20% and charge to 75%. So my lowest range is always around 50-60km. The nearest reliable DC fast charger is 3km from my house. When I do longer trips (a few times a...

Driving Assistance Thread: ACC, LKA, ALK, and InnoDrive

Just spec ACC on your car and do a trial of Innodrive and ALK later. The cost is identical and you can put it on your credit cards and get some points lol. Makes no sense to order Innodrive, ALK or even active steering now as these features are all software and can be added on after purchase.

2021 Taycan 4S - only 8 months old - 3300 miles. Heater not working and temp here is 19 degrees. I have to use seat heaters and steering wheel for

It's unreasonable to drive the car without heater in this climate. Ask them to give you a loaner while you wait for your appointment.

Rear Axle Steering - how to confirm it's installed / working?

Absolutely! I have a tight turn out of my parkade and basically anything bigger than a compact needs to make 3 point turns. Given that the Taycan is the size of a Ranger Rover I dont think I could make that corner without RAS.

PPF over existing small patch on rear doors?

How easy was it to remove? I spoke with my guy and he said the last time to tried to remove the factory installed PPF a bit of clear coat came off lol

Using Taycan PMCC to charge other EVs

I have a 2016 Cayenne plug in hybrid. I have a dedicated 30A plug for this car and with the included Cayenne charger I can fully charge the small battery in about 2 hours, rough estimate around 7kw charging speed. Unfortunately with this 1st gen charger there isn't a lot more information...

PPF over existing small patch on rear doors?

I want to install clear PPF on the front and 4 passenger doors. I noticed there is already a small patch of clear PPF installed on the bottom rear doors. What do you guys usually do in this case? Apply the new film over it? cut around it? or peal off the factory ones and install over them?

How have you configured your centre display and hot key?

Just wanted to see how everyone has set up their custom central display and hot keys. I'm sure it all varies depending on our individual use but I wouldnt mind some new ideas. For me: Central display: Drive mode, Media favourites, Navigation. I don't have the sport chrono package so I thought...

About to lock final build! Last minute build critique :)

Totally agree on Innodrive, no point paying thousands for something you'll use a few times a year. Makes more sense to "order it" on a monthly basis for whenever you're going on a long road trip. I have the rear axel steering and I have to say it's a MUST have for manoeuvrability. I shocked...

    Adjusting footwell temperature?

Thanks! Super helpful. I'm pretty sure I didnt see that icon when I played with it earlier but I'll check next time I use the car. A bit of a shame as I have zero need for 4 zone climate control and really couldn't justify nearly $1500 for it, but the individual footwell temp control would...

    Adjusting footwell temperature?

I read in the manual that there is an option to adjust the footwell temperature a few degrees above or below the set cabin temperature. I can't seem to find that option on my car with only 2 zone climate. In the manual it says it is in AC > Ventilation > Individual. Is this only available for...

"Unofficial" Porsche response to the Registration unavailable problem

Tell them to send you a flatbed and tow the vehicle back to get this sorted. Threaten to complain to porsche or give them a zero on the customer satisfaction Survey. Read the last line in the photo, dealers are told NOT to deliver vehicles unless the problem is fixed, they're just lazy.
