Good questions. During the day in which most of the systems you’ve listed would be used the solar roof produces enough power to run them. The battery would be used only in the evening. Since the roof would recharge the battery the next day I don’t honestly know why they quote a battery being...
I might have missed it on a forum thread here somewhere but I haven’t seen anyone refer to having solar panels or a solar roof to help offset charging costs. I’ve been on the waiting list for a Tesla Solar Roof for about 3-4 months now. With all the supply chain challenges I have no idea when it...
Ha Ha. Not sure I agree on the date format but give me the metric system over imperial any day. I'm in manufacturing and the metric system is just so much easier. :)
wow! That’s an incredibly long lead time to order a car! You, and many of your European peers on this forum, have an incredible amount of patience. The last time I ordered a car to my specs the lead time was 6 months and I thought I was going to lose my mind. ?
Best of luck! Long time coming so...
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve read similar experiences with people saying with a little bit of maintenance it wears just fine and of course being careful of what’s on your hands as far as lotions, grease, perspiration etc. I’ve also read though that the seats can wear quite unevenly and leaves...
Beautiful choice! Although I might be just a bit biased since my build is extremely similar to yours lol. One comment and one question.
Not having a car yet I can’t confirm but my understanding is that the 400V on board charger is only of a benefit in an area or region that has 400V chargers...
Not having one to play around with……. can I ask what ARE the planning options? It would seem to be a no brainer to have options such as specifying the type and/or size of chargers. “Normal” nav systems have had options to include or avoid toll roads, freeways etc so I’d think it would be very...
Ahhhh balls! That’s really too bad. Sorry to hear that your dream car is not within reach for a few years. This is definitely a 1st world problem for all of us but nonetheless disappointing when we all work hard for the ability to acquire Taycans and such.
I do feel bad for gents in the UK and...
Don’t hold me to it but I think I read something on one of these threads that someone had a hack to keep the display on when it was unoccupied. If it wasn’t on this Forum it may have been a YouTube video. I’ll see if I can find it and if so I’ll update you. Good luck in the meantime!
well that’s good to know. Feel horribly for the people of Ukraine but glad to hear that Porsche and most likely so many others are finding solutions and alternatives.
I was told by my SA here in SoCal that they had allocations taken away from them (temporarily) AND new orders can’t be placed because the wiring harnesses are being made in Ukraine. He did not know whether that has slowed production or completely stopped it for a period. Anybody hear anything...
My dealer said that they have allocations but several have been taken back from the factory because the wire harnesses are made in Ukraine and as of now have no idea when or how many they will be able to produce. I’m assuming they know how many can be built with what IS in the supply chain and...
Man I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I was ready right now but I need to wait a little bit because my lease isn't up til Dec 2022. Plus SoCal dealers are still marking up the MSRPs. When I am ready and SoCal won't sell at MSRP than I'll be looking out of state.
Best of luck and I'm sure someone...
I’ve been losing my mornings AND my evenings for about 3 weeks in this forum and it’s driving my wife nuts ?.
I’ll be ordering my GTS sedan soon and am looking forward to the continued wealth of knowledge and experience on the various forum threads.
Cheers
