Paint to Sample certainly will make the second hand buyer market smaller for sure but amazingly I have found that similar to custom Ferrari colors, they tend to sell faster and for more money than say Ferrari “resale red”. As @smoothound mentioned is how my experience has been. I did one of...
What country are you in. Leases don’t work like that in the uS. At least none I’ve ever heard of or done. I’ve done a ton of leases for my businessIt’s why I never do more that 24 months ever. You pay a higher money factor (interest) but it allows you to get out of A lease much earlier. The...
Nope - that’s the disadvantage of trying it get out of leases early. Regardless you are responsible for all the payments. It’s why places like lease trader exists so people can take over leases
No point on buying out your lease early as you still have to make all the payment and pay all the interest regardless the only reason to buy it out now is if you wanted to finance the amount of the payments and the residual value and assumed that interest rates will be higher at the end of your...
as initially I had it wired with one 100a breaker in the Hope to load share but the software for The gen 3 wasn’t out yet so I had my electrical guy change it out and split it with 2 50A breakers. So I think the max I can do is 40a each. (80%). Am I thinking of this incorrectly?
Im good with my current set up. Our local municipality only allows for 400A total per single family home. We have a very efficient home (finished in 2021) but also have outdoor heating on a huge patio (80a) a waterfront dock power (30a) a hot tub (30a) etc etc so no way to do a 200a car...
My 2021 4s I would regularly get 270s at 85% charge. My 2022 turbo s I’ve never seen more than 222 at 85%. I have the new software on the new car and drive them the exact same. Not sure if it’s wheels/tires or the massively faster/more powerful car gets dramatically less mileage. Doesn’t...
Why do you need 80A anyway? I don’t think any car can accept more than 40a at home. (50a breaker.). When I was building my house a couple years back I had a new gen 2 charger that I got as a referral gift from Tesla. So I spec’d a 100a breaker with our electrical sub
Fast forward Before we...
Yeah- I can’t imagine going from a turbo S to a RWD. Talk about underwhelming! I could never go back after the upgrade although I think the standard turbo might be the sweet spot.
Nice but 4th new car!?! I’ve had two 2021 4s and now 2022 Turbo S and Many have said that was a little “extra”.
Why all the changes? Car looks great BtW
To get PTS your dealers allocation has to fall within a PTS month. My dealers had to trade out their November 2021 allocation for a December one in order to get my Voodoo Blue Turbo S done. The change had to be approved by Porsche as well.
I built a new house and did a 100A circuit with two 50A dedicated chargers. This way I can charge two EVs simultaneously at 40A. I initially was going to do the older gen 2 80A charger on my 100amp circuit but thought this would be better future proofing for an all EV or multiple EV household.
Yes I agree. I still own a model 3 performance that I’m keeping for my sons 16th next year but it’s generally a crap car. My wife drove it for a while and it’s 3 years old and about 30k miles and lots of creaks and squeaks along the road. Been trying to get the FSD beta but you need like 99%...
If you want a quality car for $150k plus. This is legit been my experience with tesla for the past few years since introducing the mass produced 3/y lines
