I left my car at the body shop for 3 weeks, unplug. It was just sitting there. I lost about 15% battery when i got it back. But i will be leaving for vacation next week for 2 weeks. i was planning to park it inside my garage, charge it to 85%, unplug then leave it until i come back.
i leased my ct4 for 90 days then purchased, saved about $2500 overall, almost 70% of my monthly payment went to interest. Barely made a dent to the price. The $7500 basically paid a part of my tax and dmv fees.
12K for glass roof and windshield replacement here. If was just the roof, it would cost about 8-9k. Comprehensive claims doesn't make premiums go up. The body shop removed the roof before removing the windshield so they broke my windshield. Insurance was nice enough to cover that as well.
I got my roof and windshield replaced. Also OEM and porsche recalibrated the cameras and did an alignment as well. Apparently an alignment is needed after windshield replacement. Insurance covered everything $100 out of my pocket and $12k from the insurance.
I took my car to superior body shop in san carlos(recommended by redwood city porsche). They do very good work but timeline on getting the work done isn't the best. DM me if you want more info.
i just had my roof replaced. 1st one was due to a rock chip. Then the body shop cracked my windshield when they were removing the roof. OK now everything is put back together, went to wash and detail, the roof cracked right where the roof rails are on driver front and passenger rear. The shop...
i got a rock chip on my roof, it crack, got it replaced and while the shop was detailing the car, the roof cracked again. Shop ordered a new one and it was cracked right out of the box. Now i'm waiting for another one to come in
small rock, point of impact was small but it was parked under the sun so i guess it got bigger. The windshield and roof was about $6300, labor and miscellaneous part(clips, interior trims) are the rest. Labor was like $135/hr
i got a rock chip on my glass roof, got a 6 inch line towards the front of the car. Insurance covered it. $4500 for glass and $4000 for labor. The body shop cracked my windshield when they were removing the roof so insurance paid for that too. After installing everything back, the roof...
the car that I sold for the taycan was a tesla model y performance. I did 20% ceramic tint all around. It did look super cool, but underground parking lots with dim lights are my nightmares lol. I always have to roll my windows down. Thinking about 20% and 35% front.
So you double side tape the mount? i thought its suppose to go underneath on the driver side? I ordered one from amazon but haven't installed it yet. Thanks
