Actually my 21" WinterContacts are NF0 designated - so approved by Porsche - they fit nicely on the cross turismo design wheels. If I were to choose again, I'd probably go with a separate 20" winter tire though, the 21"s look messy once snow is involved..

Apparently Approved is being offered by individual insurers on a country by country basis - it is mad. Can't carry it over in most EU countries - but might work in some.

I'm in the same boat as you. Bought from Germany, no Approved for 3mo when registered in Romania. OBC died and just got sorted via the 5y warranty extension last week, next week I'm getting the Approved warranty.
