No idea at all, he just confirmed that mine is their first customer car and that he hopes it will be soon. They (Newcastle) have just received their showroom/demo CT though so I guess production hasn't stopped completely ?
No surprise to us all I'm sure but my OPC has just told me:
"The Cross Turismo production line has stopped and the cars have all gone to V170 status. This means that the cars are in a queue system for parts and will be built once the relevant parts become available."
Ordered my 4S CT around 15 months ago (First CT from my OPC's allocation), locked 13th April. Original delivery was scheduled for 11th June (yesterday!) but now an unspecified delay with no revised delivery date as yet.
It seems like it went into production on schedule but everything must have...
No more news yet... My dealer does keep in contact but each time it's just to say they haven't been able to get any more updates from the factory
To paraphrase something Jeremy Clarkson once said...
Buying a Tesla because it's got a 'longer range, better battery & proven software' is a bit like marrying someone because they're reliable.
I have a crayon/chalk Cross Turismo 4S with 21" CT design wheels (in the standard Titan Grey) on order... originally expected 11th June, now with an unspecified delay... although I have been told by someone reasonably well plugged into the system that the delay might not be too long. Will...
On the bright side, that can't do residuals any harm...
On the even brighter side (for me at least), the Macan I'm trading in is now worth around six thousand more of our British pounds than it was six months ago :like:
Just learned today that my 4S Cross Turismo has been delayed. Delivery was scheduled for 11th June but now, apparently due to semiconductor supply shortages, will be later... how much later I don't yet know.
I've configured the 21" Cross Turismo Design Wheels with an additional set of the 20" Turbo S wheels with winter tyres.... Supposedly getting delivery mid June, will be interesting to see how much difference I notice when I swop the wheels over in the autumn.
My best guess (and it is just a guess) is that instead of a whole distinct ‘Sport Turismo‘ body style, at some point (2022 model year maybe) there’ll be an optional ‘Sport Package’ as an alternative to the ‘Offroad Design Package’ which will lower the ride height back down, add some body mods...
About to lock my spec for a crayon 4S Cross Turismo (lock date just a day away!).

I've specced the 21" Cross Turismo design wheels but have left them in the standard Titan Grey as they seem to lose so much detail in gloss black (on the configurator at...
Interestingly (well, interesting to me at least!), I just did a search on UK Porsche finder for all used Taycan 4S's and out of the 24 cars available only 5 had standard brakes, the other 19 all had PSCBs. If that's a representative sample then it looks like its a popular option.
Brilliant... thanks for all those replies. I think that's swung me to stick with the standard brakes and saved me a couple of grand! I'm going Crayon so the red callipers will complement that too :like:
Getting close to locking my 4S Cross Turismo spec and am hovering over the PSCB option. I've specced the 21" Cross Turismo design wheels so the discs and callipers will be relatively visible... just a couple of questions to you folks with real life experience of these cars:
1. Has anyone...
I have a CT4S on order and have to lock the spec in three weeks so am enduring similar spec agonies!
I do love the CT design wheels you have specced but, for the first time ever, I am agonising over whether these tip the balance of form over function when compared to the 20" aero wheels.
Apart...
