Car been in shop for a week so far and they haven’t figured out why there is no LTE. Now with level 2 Porsche techs. To be honest it has not worked consistently since purchased in May ‘20. Once before they replaced the CONNECT ECU, but must be something different this time.
PCM shows Verizon...
Checked with the parts department and is on massive back order. Clerk said they have gotten quite a few requests for replacements.
In other words be aware of the key in the fob.
Somehow the key is missing from my fob after getting a car wash and a trip to Costco. No idea how it could come out. Any idea where to get a blank? Searched around and was unable to locate. Any help appreciated.
Yep, I have the 20 amp ‘bug’. So to keep going down the rabbit hole, does 3014 correct the melting receptacle issue? Not looking forward to replacing current Leviton with the newly purchased Hubbell. Was a pita the first time around.
Have inspected plug and current receptacle and shows no sign...
Damn, I have a Leviton 279-500. Going to be such a pain to swap out, not fun manhandling 6AWG cable. Checked the receptacle and didnt see any stress/burns but usually charge at a DC station.
So sounds like no has any idea of what the rate will be per kwh, better than EA default of 0.43/kWh or same? I will be finding out in May! If same as EA can’t wait to dump the Porsche app for EA’s. Porsche is a convoluted mess with two many clicks to get to the right page
Dumb me i guess but was going through pcm after uPdate checking settings and noticed regen was off. Have always liked the coasting feature although different driving/braking style vs ICE. Reread good to know and seems like auto is a good choice.
What have been your guys experiences?
Im just waiting for some brilliant software engineer to come out with a hack to overwrite the new default amperage setting. You know someone must be working on it.
Question, if Porsche just replaced the undersized cables wouldn’t that solve the issue?
