I just installed the Chargepoint Home Flex (https://www.chargepoint.com/drivers/home/chargepoint-home-flex) for my Taycan and a Grizzl-E (https://grizzl-e.com/home-products/) for my wife’s Etron. The supplied chargers worked just fine, but I want them with the cars in case needed on a trip.

I leased my Taycan basically for two reasons. 1) I’ve learned that I like to turn a car over to often really to buy it. 2) the technology is going to change so much in the next 2-3 years that I wanted the ability to change the vehicle.

The Etron is my wife’s and she loves it. Real word range is right around 200 miles at full charge. Quiet ride and well appointed interior.

I only have the ACC with the lane assist. I fortunately don’t use either much. When I do use the cruise control, I am overriding it all the time. I bought a Porsche to drive the damn car, not have it drive me.

Did some more forum searching and found a thread that had more info. I downloaded the Porsche Charging app and linked that to my account. This was definitely not covered during the handoff at the dealer.

Well, I am zero for one with plug in charge on the Taycan. Pulled up to the EA station, plugged in at one of the 350 stations and nothing. It turns out that station was faulty. The guy in the mustang Mache next to me told me after I was fiddling around for a while. Moved the car to 150 kW...

Today will be the first time using an Electrify America station with my Taycan. It has worked well with my wife’s E-tron, so far.
