I'm again in the same boat. Heard the same from hennesey about resistall. So not fighting it anymore... but getting my ppf done at the dealer. They matched the price I was quoted outside. Getting front ppf for 1795. Might be better for long term warranty to do it thru dealer, although I know...
Hennessy added a line item for me that has resistall protection . I'm planning to do ppf and don't want resistall, but they have declined to remove it from the invoice... r u guys in the same boat (no pun intended)?
Of course it is not a bug, it a poor software design! They sell a car to a customer who wants a single language... but the software is designed to load all languages it can support. That is such a poor design, why not load only the languages that the customer has preferred and reload other...
Thanks... Here are the lease terms for 2021 Taycan. https://www.hennessyporsche.com/national-lease-offers.htm
I finally got a quote from them today. Like you said, it does not look attractive as quoted. I was looking at the depreciation curve on Tesla S to plan for 5 years of ownership. Tesla...
Has anyone here received Lease or Financing terms from Hennessy? It is getting annoying now that they promised me to send the details a week ago and still haven't. Guess it is another of the unfortunate sales technique to keep a customer in the dark until the very last moment and give no space...
I'm tech entrepreneur, on to a new adventure now... Should be interesting to have a Taycan atlanta group. We might bump into each other when the cars finally arrive!
This is my guess to. It's transfer of ownership from the co to the dealer that might occur when the car is unloaded on dock. Then it's the transfer from the dealer to us.
Same situation w me too.. ATL+Hennesy. They told me the same thing that the cars won't arrive by Dec end on US soil, will see if this team can beat their prediction. BTW, did you folks get their lease/finance deals for your cars? I still haven't.
I hope you are right and earn your PhD in naval navigation soon after delivery of your car ;). My dealer called me yesterday saying the ship won't arrive in the US by the end of the year due to weather. Probably running with some old data than this.
The financial question might be if the rate of depreciation of this car is better/worse/at par with what we are used to in ICEs and same for the cost of ownership. Its going to very subjective. I tend to buy new models that are on the road for at least 2 yrs and all the major issues have been...
Thanks for the post, I am planning to install a camera when(ever) the car is delivered. Putting these pictures together, its helping to understanding how the housing cover fits into on the metal part. Wondering if using a hair dryer to warm up the plastic piece or some WD40 (NOT both of course)...
Its a tough one... to buy or not to buy. Porsche built an entire new plant for this car and its future variants. This is the future for them and for many consumers. Batteries will go through marginal transformation in next 3-5 yrs, like they did for Tesla. I am leaning towards buying vs leasing...
Won't the cars be loaded in LIFO order (last in first out)? Won't the Jacksonville shipment be all the way back on the ship? I hope I am totally wrong on this one!
